2023 Corsair orders, build dates

I find it so sad how inconsistent the concierge has proven to be. Some people get amazing support including fixing priority codes. My experience was somewhere in the middle. She created a case, gave me no information and then promised to email me periodically. Incidentally she never emailed me anything useful. Mine is finally showing built. This process has me rather disenchanted with Lincoln.

Part of the draw was all of the claims about luxury car service and support. I have not seen the support yet. Service is TBD. I am not set on taking delivery. We will have to be really enamored by this vehicle when it arrives. The time it has taken to receive this order has allowed us to shop around and honestly, this is not my first pick right now. It will come down to my wife's preference.

Ordered 9/19
Built 7/20
Shipped 7/25
Estimated arrival 7/31-8/6

All other details are in the tracking sheet.
Thanks for the update. Calling the concierge has been a big waste of time. I’m guessing at this point, a 2023 Corsair is not going to be produced.

Try looking around at dealers near you. There are dealers up here in New York that have some on the lot readily available for sale

I think they built 2022s through October, maybe November of last year. It is odd to me.

Quick update. I've had a Ford Maverick Hybrid on order since October 2021...yup 2021. Well it arrived, decided since I waited so long I'd buy it.
Have had a Corsair GT on order scheduled to be built August 3, 2023.
Chatted with salesman, he had no problem me turning it down as they can't get them, money in the bank I guess.
Gonna order a 2024 GT, should still make money on the Maverick as the Hybrids are still selling over MSRP for used ones.

Denis, congratulations. I am happy to see a number of GTs arriving. Maybe my January order will have a chance to get built.

Really enjoying mine too...I don't think I will buy gas for several months because I only do local driving most of the time
Certainly possible. I'm at 79+mpg, 600 miles and counting (123 gas + EV to empty predicted) on our first tank.

It does go fast on highway though, once switched to all gas.

Hi all- today marks the third week since delivery of my 2023 Corsair GT and here are my notes so far:

Rides smooth and quiet

Luxury feel all the way through.

Sync 4 not as easy to negotiate as Sync3 but might be I have not gotten used to it

My gas gauge hardly moves when I am keeping the battery charged up

Sync4 does not notify me when one of my alerts is active. For example, I have it set to alert me when the Detroit Tigers are on Sirius. The Sync3 did this very well but not Sync4. I did some research on this and it appears that this is a known bug in Sync4. However, there is a fix- the alert works fine when I am on the calm screen so now, I switch to calm screen when I get in the car and my sports teams notifications will then come up.

The Heads-Up Display is a thing of beauty- my wife has a Lexus RX350 and she says my HUD has too much information but I think it is more likely that her HUD has too little.

The Active Glide (to be renamed Blue Cruise) is a freaking miracle. Hands off driving on the interstate is wonderful. I also appreciate the ability to set my speed tolerance to 9mph over the limit, and as the car reads the speed limit sign, it automatically adjusts my speed- no more having to manually click up or down every time I enter a new speed zone. On the interstate, the car will change lanes with a flick of the turn signal.

On the downside, it will change to the database speed limit even if the sign says something different. For example, one area on the interstate is 65mph, but it must have been 60 previously, because it always slows me down even though there are no signs. I have a long road trip in the car coming up next week, probably 16 hours in all so I will see then how much easier a long drive is with all the technology.

The car doors all close with the heavy sound you would expect from a well-built car. However, my rear passenger door looks like it was hung slightly wrong, which is disappointing.

I made the mistake in assuming the 302a package I purchased would include the 24-way massage seats- I was wrong and wish I had been more careful in the ordering. If the sales guy had pointed that out, I would have added them.

I have purchased numerous products for this car, which I have never done for any car I have ever owned before. Some things work very well and some were returned.

One thing I returned were the floor mats from TuxMat. Not because they weren’t good quality- they were excellent materials and looked sharp. However, getting them installed correctly involved taping some Velcro fasteners to the car and I was just hesitant to do that on my brand-new car. I ended up buying a rear cargo map on ebay- it was the Lincoln OEM mat, brand new, but $75 instead of $135.

I kept the Lincoln logo coasters for the cup holders in the front and the Lincoln logo tire stem caps- small touches but it looks sharp. Since I can get pretty sweaty playing golf, I bought a seat blanket that goes over the headrest to protect my seats from any perspiration. Works great!

That’s about it for my report except to say this- this car exudes a luxury feel, from approaching it at night with the welcome lights and Lincoln puddle lights, to the feel of the seats and steering wheel, all the way back to the rear cargo door (yes, kick plate was included even though my dealer said it wasn’t.) This is by far the nicest car I have ever owned and worth the 10 month wait!

Your dealer's body shop or collision center can and will adjust your rear door. Our lift gate was out of wack and it is fixed now.

Hi MMcCurdy. Congratulations on your new Corsair!

Just one word of advice on the valve stem caps: Especially if they are aluminum or another metal material...Apply a little anti-seize to the threads of the valve stem caps/valve stems. There have been many cases of owners having aluminum/metal aftermarket valve stem caps corrode onto the valve stems, rendering them completely unable to be removed without damaging/destroying the cap and/or the valve stems.

On a related side note...this is one of the reasons auto manufacturers use (maintenance free/"idiot proof";)) plastic caps on the vast majority of vehicles.

Good luck with your new Corsair! 🍻
