2023 Corsair orders, build dates

I CAN'T BELEIVE THAT I STILL WAITTING
Order on October, 10 -2022
Built on April, 23 - 2023
and no more news after built
( Im from Quebec/Canada ) what's wrong with Lincoln ?
Yeah Denis our Corsair finally made it to us, I kept calling concierge and finally got ahold of a nice lady named Sarah. She was very helpful, did some digging and while talking to her system switched to ready to ship. Got Corsair 2 1/2 weeks later

You would think……that they’d want these vehicles delivered quickly. They don’t get paid until it’s delivered right ? Guess Ford/Lincoln don’t need the money lol

Ford transfer ownership to the dealer when it leaves the factory.

Amazingly enough, my Corsair has finally been shipped, so only a cool 10 months from order to shipping. SMH.

Now to decide whether to accept delivery...3/4 of the way through the model year. Love Lincoln, but they've got to figure out a way to consistently deliver quality vehicles in a reasonable timeframe.

Corsair aside, our poor '22 Aviator GT has already had at least three recalls - maybe four...

I hope the tan looks better in person than it does online! In some pictures in the bright sun, it looks peachy. Yes I'm from Canada :)
I've seen it in person and will not be accepting delivery. It amazes me that in 2022 the dealers had books that would tell them exactly the color and texture of every fabric in the car down to the stitching colors. Now the dealers or Lincoln can't even tell you the color of the headliner that your car is coming with. We are going to reorder with the Eternal Red leather so that we will get an all black headliner. Also not wanting to risk the 2024 Corsair being made in China like the new Nautilus.

If you want a Corsair I wouldn't think it wise to so assume. They've just begun delivering 2023 in quantity; 2024 is sure to be January 2024 and even then only if you are front of the line.

Probably true. I purchased another car at the seven month mark, so deciding to either refuse delivery or take a low mileage lease on the Corsair as opposed to buying it outright.

Hi all. General question. I put my 1k deposit for my custom build in over the past weekend. My salesperson said he would turn it in Monday to get the process started.

Will I automatically get something from Lincoln about the expected build date, progress etc like I see y'all sharing on here? Or is this something I need to request?

Thanks all!

You should get emails from Lincoln, however once the vehicle has been serialized in the system your sales rep will get a VIN. With the VIN and the order number (ask your sales rep for both) you can track your vehicles progess on the Lincoln website (go to towards the bottom of the main page and look under "shop" and the "custom order tracking".

Good luck.

I placed my order 1/19/23 and have only received a confirmation of the order. That came the same day as the order was placed. A few months later I got basically the same email.

Looks like there is a shortage of rail cars. See article about GM reducing production because of this.
Maybe Lincoln could offer a plane ticket for us to come and pick up our car at the factory.

I’d LOVE that!

The American site is different. There is no "Custom Order Tracking".

Ah. I'll let someone jump in who can point out the way to access the tracking info for US purchases.

She’s here. I should be able to pick up tomorrow

Hi Peter. Yes you are correct. There is no such thing as a site to track only "custom orders". In fact, although even Lincoln and other automakers will sometimes use the "custom order" label in their advertising (to make us feel special), it is actually a bit of a misnomer and can sometimes cause confusion, but that is another discussion. 🙃
In reality, when we as a customer place a specific vehicle factory order, it is simply a retail order and/or factory order, but that does not sound as high class as "Custom order". ;)

So the site we use is simply a Vehicle Order Tracking system which is available to be used by us "patient" customers. And any vehicle can be tracked using it, as long as the patiently waiting customer has the correct information, which is provided to the customer by the Dealership (if they do their job).

I know, it may seem like semantics, but it can be confusing otherwise.

And just as in Canada, there is a Vehicle Order tracking site available for US customers who are "patiently" waiting for their vehicles to arrive.

Good luck. 🍻
