2023 Corsair orders, build dates

Ugh! I went to check on the status of my vehicle to see if it was shipped (built on May 17th) and it is now set back to order confirmed!!!!View attachment 17319

I'll give it 24 hours and if it isn't back to built or shipped I'll jump all over my dealer.
Mine did the same thing. A few days later I got a shipped email.

I ordered a 2023 Reserve III AWD in September 2022. My order locator showed a blend date of 4/6/23 and that the vehicle was built on 4/23/23. One month later, it is still not shipped and neither Lincoln Concierge nor my dealer can tell me what has occurred. I have been searching Detroit area dealers' websites and found a Reserve III AWD that matched my order, but with the Jet Appearance package in another dealer's inventory. All of the Detroit dealers have received some stock. The one I found was someone else's special order, who dumped out because of the long wait. I jumped on this vehicle and have been driving it for a week (picture attached). The Blue Cruise option is very well executed and my favorite new toy. If you are tired of waiting for your order, just search all your local dealers' stock. They are definitely starting to show up on dealer lots. But my former special order is still in limbo. Can't wait for my former dealer to call in July and let me know it came in. Ford/Lincoln needs to do a better job of communicating order status if they are really serious about moving to a build to order model. Loyal Ford guy, but just saying.....

Did you get the 24 way seats?
Yes! They are amazing!! Love the leg extender feature and massaging is so worth it!

Quick question: when the window sticker has been generated does that mean the car has officially been built and how long does it normally take the status to change from In Production to Built?

No, the car has not been built when the window sticker is first released. There is a blend date on the top margin of the window sticker that has the anticipated date all the necessary components will be available to the assembly line. Once they can confirm the components will be available, the production start date is assigned (the In Production bubble on the status page will show that date). After that it normally takes from 7 to 10 days but can be quicker before it is shown as built. Then there is shipping...

Hi BMM. The window sticker is generated before the vehicle is built. In the "old days", that could be anywhere from several days to ~10 days before the vehicle Build date.

However, with the current rolling production delays across the entire industry, delays which can vary from week to week and even day to day, that several day to ~10 day timeline is no longer applicable.

So all that can currently be reliably/safely stated is that the window sticker is generated before the Build Date.

Hopefully, things will return to a somewhat state of normal over the rest of this year. At least that is the hopeful industry forecast/prediction.

Good luck.

OK, thanks for the info. I see the Blend Date now which is 6/1. Keeping my fingers crossed for next week! 🤞

Does your status page have a "Scheduled for week of" and a date?

It might be helpful for you to view the spreadsheet where members of the forum are posting dates so you can view the timeframes....it's hard to give a hard and fast answer.

Check out the forum spreadsheet here to help with some of what you are wondering. :)

I think we know the sticker definitely does not mean built, just that they are about ready to start building.

My status has been Production for 8 days and counting (presumably started 5/16). I'm wondering too if that's typical or means there's a problem. Twice since in Production the updated date in status has been updated twice but no listed status change.

Does it show only In Production or does it show In Production along with a date?

Hi greerl. It does not mean there is a problem, other than the ongoing problems of parts/commodity shortages and shipping delays, which everyone is experiencing with virtually every automaker.
All we can really do is politely/persistently check with the Dealership and Lincoln Concierge, and be patient.

Hope you get your Corsair soon and good luck. 🍻
