2023 Corsair orders, build dates

Finally! My wife accepted delivery of her brand-new 2023 Corsair Reserve this afternoon. Ordered on 9/21/2022; delivered on 5/15/2023 -- almost eight months!

BTW, we received a total of $2,500 toward the purchase price as follows:

-- $1,000 Private Cash Offer from Lincoln
-- $1,000 Lincoln to Lincoln Trade-In Assistance Bonus Cash
-- $500 Bonus Cash for X-Plan Partners

My wife's Corsair was an X-Plan purchase, and we traded-in her 2017 Lincoln MKC.
Great news! Another new vehicle for The Barn! ;)

I hope I can get that lucky. I found out just recently I am eligible for the x plan pricing as an IBEW member. I have been out of town for work and just got back home this weekend. I have been seriously contemplating visiting a dealer and putting an order in.
I'll have to look into what that $500 bonus is. I'm trying and hoping I can get some kind of private offer from Ford. I have a current Ford vehicle but I'm not eligible for that Lincoln to Lincoln rebate.
Even without any extra incentives to explain pricing is about $1,800 off of MSRP the way I build the vehicle.

I'd like to go with a:
Lincoln Corsair FWD
Reserve II trim
Infinite black
Ebony\ Cashew interior
Tow package
No sunroof
No AWD.

Before we make a commitment we wanted to see a vehicle in standard trim and we wanted to see a vehicle in the reserve trim. We visited a dealer today they had one Lincoln vehicle on the entire lot they are just a small dealership. About 70 miles away in Pittsburgh there is a much larger dealership that has quite a few vehicles in stock and they have some new 2023s setting on the lot. They have one right now in a base FWD. Black on black. They also have a silver Reserve II with the ebony and cashew interior. We are planning on Thursday making drive to that dealership.
I was in love with the red interior but our deal breaker with the Reserve was the 20 in tires. Rougher ride a lot more expensive to replace . They couldnt put 18 or 19 in on the Reserve. Made no sense they could put 20 in on a Standard. Other than that I really didnt get the difference.

The 2023 Corsair Reserve is equipped with 19-wheels as standard equipment.

Hi nrjptl. Several points here: First, any Lincoln/Ford Dealer can most certainly tell an the exact A-Plan price...before you even order a vehicle...down to the penny, by simply inputting the order information into their pricing/order system.

Next...A-Plan pricing varies according to the vehicle price, along with any Incentives and Rebates which may be applicable to you in your region. So there is no way to tell you an accurate price at this point.

Next...as an eligible Ford employee, you can obtain access to the Ford Employee AXZ-Plan website, where all the pricing information is available at your fingertips. That website is where you would also get an A-Plan PIN, which you will need to purchase a new vehicle. That would be the best way to find out an A-Plan price for a 2023 Corsair optioned the way you want to order.

Let us know how you make out and good luck.
To be honest, I find it really difficult to find this discount amount.

Dealership just gives an estimation, also just verbal, nothing on paper. Ford Benefit team says it’s up to the dealership. Dealership has the right not to participate in A-Plan, Ford can’t do anything about it. It’s actually mentioned in policy as well.

AXZ-Plan website is also not helpful in this matter. It navigates to Lincoln/Ford order website, which is standard for all buyers. Nothing where I can choose a vehicle and they show me A-Plan discounts for that vehicle. 😢

Wow that is weird but shows you the salespeople dont know their stuff. Back in September last year we called one dealer was told 20 in only and again at another dealer when we ordered they said the same thing . Well it was meant to be cause we are now Cadillac owners , gave up our special order a month ago.

I was tempted to get the red interior but I felt like the black headliner made it feel very cave like. Would have been nice to see the red interior in person to convince me tho 🤪

Hi nrjptl. Again, the Dealership can most certainly tell you the exact price of any vehicle you wish to order, before the order is placed. And they can print out a VOC with the exact A_Plan pricing for you. Some dealers may require you to already have a PIN to verify your eligibility, but according to the AXZ-Plan rules, they are required to give you a copy. So the Dealership is not being completely honest with you.

While it is correct that Dealership participation in AXZ-Plan sales is voluntary, they must follow the rules if they are participating. Following the rules is not voluntary. And the Plan rules are outlined on the AXZ-Plan website.

You need to look through the AXZ-Plan website better. It gives all the information you are looking for, including pricing. As previously explained, it is not really possible for us to give an accurate price on a vehicle, since there is far too much unknown information.

I would also suggest you find another Lincoln Dealership if possible, since this one does not seem to be dealing honestly with you.

And/or look through the AXZ-Plan website again. Everything you need is right there.

Let us know who you make out and good luck.

The $500 bonus cash we received when using X-Plan to purchase my wife's 2023 Corsair is called the "X-Plan Partner-Plus Discount" and is available to customers that are using an X-Plan PIN issued by a Ford Motor Company partner. Our sales guy explained this extra $500 is not available for X-Plan PINs issued by friends and family members.
I have also ordered our Corsair with the X-Plan Ford Partner and hopefully will take delivery in a few weeks. This is the first I heard of this additional $500 cash back. Today I just checked the X-Plan website and they show no additional cash offers available, other than financing incentives. Do you have a link available to documentation on this?

BTW, we should also be getting a $1000 cash rebate from when we ordered the car back last year. It was an offer direct from Lincoln for current Lincoln owners; we own a Navigator that we are not trading in, but it still gave us $1000 off on a new order.

Hi Torquer. Incentive, Rebates, Cash Offers etc. are based on various criteria, including region (by ZipCode). Therefore, an offer available in one region may not necessarily be available in another. And the Dealership has access to the latest information.

That being said, it never hurts to ask the Dealership to be sure, and even call Lincoln Concierge to see if they can supply additional information.

Let us know how you make out and good luck.

20" wheels are a stand alone option for the Corsair $,1150.
Or if you get Jet black package you get the black 20" wheels unique to that package.
I'm the same with you I drive above average miles I do want nothing to do with those 20-in wheels. Or the outrageously expensive tires mounted on them.

It’s not a NASCAR. It’s a Lincoln and should ride like one lol. 19 inch standard or Continental tires are the best for the vehicle. I get a kick out of all the men in my neighborhood. The macho thing to do is get a big pickup truck (cuz lacking other areas lol) and change the exhaust and put a tune on it. It’s a damn pickup truck !!!!!! It has its own purpose in life like hauling or farming not racing lmao 🤣

I finally made up my mind and will not buy or lease a new Corsair, I will buy out the lease on my 2020. My reasoning:

New 2023: may take months to get one, cannot test drive one, cannot even see color or leather samples, very few improvements over 2020 model, dealer wants to charge me $1100 extra because residual value of my 2020 is too low (it is mint with less than 36K km), no incentives, high interest rate (6 to 8%), locks me in for 3 more years if I lease

Current 2020 loaded Corsair Reserve 202A: reliable, affordable, well known to me and the wife, buying it out gives me more options to buy or lease a new car in future. It sells for $8K+ more than the residual value if I bought one used. 1 year left on warranty. I can buy a $40K used car (my Lincoln Corsair) for $32K.

Summary: few advantage to a new 2023 versus my 2020 based on what Lincoln and my dealer offer. I am in Canada.

Whatever is important to you. But to me the larger display and Active Glide 1.2 are a big deal even if other stuff trivial.

The Active Glide costs $8K extra in Canada and I am OK with the adaptive cruise, lanekeeping, and other drivers aids in the 2020 model. If I don't spend the extra $8K, I lose the HUD display which I like in my 2020. The Canadian pricing seems designed to not make you buy the 303A package or the GT Hybrid system.

Unless there is a suspension change that goes with the tires, I can't believe that one inch makes such a huge difference. I thought they looked better so we sprung for the 20".

For me it’s whatever makes you happy. As long as they are not low profile. Those tires are horrible and are made for sports cars

Hi Torquer. The additional $500 bonus cash my wife received toward the purchase of her new 2023 Corsair was a result of an ongoing incentive program called "Ford X-Plan Partner Plus Discount." While I was unable to find anything specific about the applicability this program to the Lincon Corsair, I did find an article that describes how this discount works on other Ford Motor Company vehicles:

This $500 discount came as surprise to us as we were completing the purchase paperwork in the sales manager's office of our local Lincoln dealership. At his computer, I believe the sales manager accessed a system called VINCENT to check for every incentive available. The VINCENT system is what prompted the sales manager to add the $500 discount to our transaction. I believe every Ford and Lincoln dealership has access to VINCENT, so I suggest you ask your sales guy to check for you.

I don't think there is a 303A package (302A includes Active Glide, HUD, and audio system upgrade) but sounds like you're describing the same $8000 package as available in the US.

Maybe I misread your statement but my interpretation of the packages / pricing is that they are trying to force you to buy the expensive package.

I have a Nautilus with 21" wheels and it rides perfectly so I'm sure the 20" wheels I ordered on the Corsair will ride just fine...and they look 1000x better than the 19" wheels.
I drive above average miles. I wish with all the supply chain issues you could downgrade as a no cost option. I agree the 19-in wheels aren't the prettiest. I like the optional 18-in wheels that are on the standard Corsair. The ones with the dark gray centers
