2023 Corsair orders, build dates

I hope you guys get them soon and they are trouble free ! I’m hoping to see a lot of pictures and posts about them. First one to get their Corsair from me gets the same thing they got last year…..nothing lol. Just injecting some humor on a tough situation 🤣

Hi MMcCurdy. It was marketed as "ActiveGlide" on Lincoln vehicles to give more differentiation between Lincoln and Ford vehicles. In the same manner that after a few years, the naming of the Lincoln GTDI engines was changed from "EcoBoost" to "T" engines.

So for brand differentiation, Ford GTDI engines are still labeled "EcoBoost", while Lincoln GTDI engines are now labeled "T". "The Lincoln "T" label is considered to be more in line with how luxury vehicles are named, as opposed to "EcoBoost".
Still the same engines in virtually all cases, simply different callouts/names on the trunk.

However, the ActiveGlide naming was not entirely well thought out, so the system is now going to be "BlueCruise" across both divisions. Well, at least until someone way up high in the executive offices decides to change it again. 😉

I also follow a Lexus waiting discussion in the Lexus Club forum where it is not uncommon to view threads saying, "500 plus days and still waiting". Or, I give up, I'm ordering a BMW, where waiting time is only 6-9 months. My wife is leaning toward the Corsair, but who knows, she's never driven either brand.

Yes! Things are finally moving along in Louisville.

We ordered my wife's 2023 Corsair Reserve on 9/21//2022. Lincoln's order-tracking website recently showed "In Production" on 04/21/2023, and this morning it shows "Built" on 04/23/2023.
 
Happy for you all, even more frustrated about my order. Talked to "replacement" salesman on Friday. Claims that everything is ready, priority has been 2 for months now. Clearly I picked the wrong dealer to place my order.

I did label a couple more columns in the spreadsheet if anyone wants to add their build date and hopefully soon add their delivery date.

Blend date on window sticker is 04/20/2023. Thus, "Built" on 04/23/2023 is three days after blend date. That's about what I'd expect.

Wow! Yeah, hardly a discount! LOL $3,000-$4,000 price increase between 2022 and 2023! Guess that new infotainment screen with sync 4 is expensive (or the Active-glide Blue Cruise technology)... OR they are trying to make up for lost sales during the down-time at Louisville.

Mine has been stuck on Blend Date of 04/05 for a couple of weeks but still showing in production as of this morning. Im taking others good updates as hopeful news that it's getting close. Fingers crossed.

Got an email late last night that my Corsair Standard has been built and getting to the dealership earliest May 15th blend date 4/6. I cancelled my order week and a half ago LOL . But am enjoying the extra money in my pocket from my 2023 Cadillac XT4 purchase and the trips I can take sooner. So looks like we will see some Corsair's on the road.
