2023 Corsair orders, build dates

Writing to check something that other posts imply:

I submitted an order for a 2023 GT on the day the new model was announced back in September 2022. I didn't receive an order confirmation from Lincoln until late February 2023.

When I asked my salesperson why this happened, he told me that they submitted the order as soon as they could, and that order banks for the '23 GT didn't open until February. Now, other folks' posts have me questioning whether this is true. The Concierge team couldn't confirm either way.

Does anyone know when the order banks actually opened?

Any help here will be greatly appreciated! At this point, as much as I want my GT, I'm tired of being lied to, mislead, and gaslighted. (There is a long history hear about a '22 order that also never materialized, but suddenly "had a build date" after months of no comms from...anyone...right after I said "No, I want the '23.")

Poor excuse. Someone screwed the pooch. Not wanting town up.

Forgot to ad. I ordered 29 December 22. My Email was incorrect so confirmation was later. Walked out of dealer with a dora as you should have. Indicates order is submitted and includes pricing. Since December there have been price increases. Hopefully your dealer will adjust to the correct price. Mines at price level 315

Actually, the order banks for the '23 GT opened up last year. I forgot the exact month but I think it was September.

I remember this because I was on the verge of trading in my '22 for a '23 and went to my local dealership and they confirmed that they were able to place an order ( a date was actually announced when preorders would begin).

Sorry to hear this happened to you. If the wait won't be incredibly long, hang in there for the '23. Otherwise, I am not sure I would go with a 2022 model.

AFAIK it was mid-September. We wanted to order a '22 and was able to get it in just as the '22 order book closed. The '23 order book had opened just before that (there was a short ovelapp).

Many folks have Have indicated here that their orders were placed last fall and were accepted and confirmed back then. I placed an order for a '23 GT on January 27th and it was accepted so I think you are being mislead by your salesman. The status of my order (including order date) is indicated in the following screenshot:

Hi gang. For informational purposes: The 2023 Corsair Order Bank opened on 9/12/22.

I can not find any information stating the Corsair GT model had a delayed Order Bank opening. That does not necessarily mean it was not delayed, only that I can't find any information stating so.

Mislead......a nice way of saying one was lied to with saying you were lied to.

Well done :)

I would be concerned about doing any business with this salesman/dealer, zero trust.
 
I have had my new 2022 GT for 2 1/2 weeks now and love it. I also enjoy the $6,835 tax credit and $4,000 off of MSRP. I had to cancel my full price MSRP order for a 2023 GT that I had placed on September 12th 2022 as the wait was too much for my wife to bear.
Side note: after charging all night on a 110 plug, the car registers 37 miles of electric power ready to go (usually enough to last all day for around the town errands). It is the most comfortable, smoothest, quietest, most efficient, best car ever :).
I just have to live without the improvements that I was looking forwards to with the 2023. Win some lose some.

I order my Corsair Grand Touring 2023 on Oct,-10-2022 , order was Confirm by Lincoln on Oct,-21-2022
and on Production Mar,- 30 - 2023 , hope that can help :)

Corsair GT, collection III, perfect position seats, and tow package.

I am starting to wonder if we should make a spreadsheet and try to figure out what colors and options may be delaying some orders.

I've wondered if the order number is in order of order receipt or just the dealership. Mine is K487 order placed 9 /27 its hard to believe that just about 2 weeks after the order banks opened that many orders were placed at a dealer or even a region. So that may enhance the spreadsheet.
 
Is there any way to attach a file to the forum for everyone to share? I created a basic sheet, I am open to making it more complex if there is interest. This should be fairly open. Let me know if it isn't accessible.

I needed to download a recommended app. Got it to work and added Est. Delivery column in case anyone has that info from their dealer.

Hey @ljnelson109 —

Nice job with the spreadsheet. I added my info. For those who had difficulty after adding your entry, you just go to "File->Share->Publish to web..."

Once it's published, any further updates you enter happen automatically as you add or edit information. For most desktop applications, you would typically see "File->Save..." or "File->Save as..." but for this, it's "File->Share->Publish to web..."

For what it's worth, I'm using the Google Chrome browser, so this spreadsheet app is already configured. If you're using a different browser, you may have to download something to make it work. I hope this information helps others.

Okay, so, I am not sure this was a healthy exercise for me. It seems I am the only one without a production estimate. The only outlier I see in my order options is the interior color. So, maybe that is the supply issue? IDK
