2023 Corsair orders, build dates

Hi mpabian. Yes, this is the real story. It is not a matter of "...dealer add-ons "aren't allowed" with plan pricing...". It is a case of Dealer add-ons are not included in AZXD-Plan pricing, or given any sort of AZXD-Plan pricing discounts.
Therefore, since they are not part of any AZXD-Plan discounts, those add-ons are items which the customer must price negotiate separately with the Dealer, and/or refuse completely.

So Dealer add-ons can be included in the contract, but they do not have any Plan price protection and must be negotiated between the customer and Dealer

In your case (and in reality, everyone's case), you/we should stipulate in our purchase contract that no additional add-ons are to be included in the purcahse and will be refused.

It is not too late to do so. Stop by your Dealership and get it in writing that you do not want any Dealer add-ons. Also send emails and texts stating so. In that way, you will have a long paper trail.

Concerning the Dealership refusing to sell the vehicle to you? Well, the truth is any Dealer can do that at any time with any vehicle. But that is a rare occurrence.

Get it in writing from your Salesperson that you do not want any Dealer add-ons, and that they will not add them.

Let us know how you make out and good luck.
Very helpful. Thank you! I'll be in touch with my dealer tomorrow.

Mine was in the production status since April 23 and yesterday the production date posted with 5/9. I am not sure why.
It means all the components are available and it is now physically on the assembly line or in the queue for the assembly line.

My Window sticker posted today, 5/10/2033.
2023 Corsair GT Whisper Blue Collection III plus.
Ordered 14 Dec 2022
Production week 5/16/2023.

I assume this means with delivery delays likely delivery is still around July 1 but now there's some confidence that really will happen.

Well everyone my Corsair Standard is now listed on my dealers website. So my journey is over with Lincoln. I have checked out Cadillac owners forums but they aren't fun and spunky as you all were. Enjoy your new rides as they are finally being delivered.

Mercury made good stuff. Idk why they ever got rid of that division. I had an 06 Montego and it was loaded with advanced features like HID lights, LED rear lights, gas pedal and brake pedal that moved, multiple memory buttons. I think it had many features that cars then you had to pay extra for if you could even get them. It was a perfect mutt. Ford engine, Volvo frame and Lexus transmission. Put 146k on it and only did a water pump and alternator and regular maintenance. I still think about what a good car and value that was

Ford was bleeding money and almost broke at that time. They actually borrowed against the Ford logo.
Alan Mulally came in and sold/closed numerous items under the Ford brand. Volvo, Land Rover, Jaguar, Aston Martin.
Mercury was eliminated. Mercury was very redundant, a complete separate division, their own Presidents, VP's Managers and such. Was a cost saving.

But it was the upscale version of Ford like Buick is the upscale version of Chevrolet. They did make good cars. Would love to see them bring that division back one day. I liked the Montego and the Mercury mountaineer. Still see them in the road today. That says something.

I do have to say after seeing both the Reserve/GT grill and the Standard next to each other, I am glad I went with the Reserve.

Yeah, there's no comparison. I don't care for the Standard grille at all. The one on the Reserve/GT is light years better. (y)

I agree. I would like it even better if the logo was not there. Just a clean slate.
