2022 Navigator

Hi BL. I quoted it in my earlier post, but here it is again above...Reply #666. Not a good number...

I see post #664. So KCNaviLady has stated two different scenarios. First, it was "built and located". Then second...She has a "production date" of "March 21st". Perhaps she is confused and now confusing us? Although that is not always hard to do...lol

Perhaps she will come back and un-confuse us.

Good luck.
I see that now, sorry. Yes, seems to be conflicting information there.

Actually- she says it IS built. No ledge here. Just clarifying

Hi xray. Actually she has said both. It was built (Reply #664)...and also that she has a production date of March 21st (Reply #666).

Unless I am missing something (hey, it happens), the last dates she mentioned was she has a production date of March 21st (Reply #666).

So hopefully, she will clarify this for us.

Good luck.

Correct. I’ve seen both posts. I was just clarifying that at one point it was stated that it was built bc you had said a couple of times she hadn’t stated that. I have no issues and I hope it is built. Its great for all of us. It also lines up w a post on another forum that there are 3000-3500 SUVs (Expy and Navs) built but waiting on a part in order to be inspected and shipped.

I understood her posts to mean hers was built but awaiting the part even though her build week hasn’t been updated recently. Of course thats where assumption comes in sometimes but that is my interpretation of the posts.

Hi xray. You did not mention you had seen both posts. In fact, no one did until BL and I just figured it out by accident...:ROFLMAO:

However, unless she is using the incorrect terminology...If she has a "production date" of "March 21st", it has not been built.

Perhaps she is confused and meant to say a delivery date of March 21st? We won't know until she posts back to clarify.

EDIT- And just to add: This is why people should quote the posts they are referring to. It helps others understand where the information being discussed is coming from. I quoted post #666 from the beginning. so it would have been easy to refer to. If you or others quoted post #664, we could have avoided some back and forth searching. ;)

Good luck.

My 22 is built and was located. I was told it’s just missing one part (my mom is a supervisor and knows people). I wish I had more details or insight to provide but I feel like everyone has stated pretty much everything I’ve heard as of late.
Is it possible this “part” that is missing is a semiconductor chip or two?

Oh wow! I’m extremely sorry for all the confusion and the late response as I was picking up multiple kids in sports. So not trying to ignore.

I was told my suv was located and it was just missing one part. So in my mind being located=built, sitting there, waiting for whatever part that’s not available. I got excited to see that someone else (tb20206-2) had similar info, which I believe my first post today quoted his. I guess I should have left out how I received the info, but figured I would be asked how I knew that.

My most recent e-mail from Lincoln on March 3rd said I had a production change to March 21st from my previous date which was March 14th (sent Feb 25th). I’m “assuming” they are not sending built confirmation emails until the SUV is 100% built…but that’s just my assumption. So to clear it up I did say built AND scheduled to be built.

I was just asked my priority code and date of order. I hope my post didn’t come off as it being a great priority code or built early because of my parents or the plan I used. I didn’t even know what a good priority code number was until I was just schooled 😊 no hard feelings!

I’m sure we all just want some answers. It’s been a long time waiting for a lot of people. However, I think it’s a good thing to hear that some are possibly built. Gives us some hope that our SUVs will be out soon.

That I don’t know! All that was said was a part is missing. I did change my interior from black to sandstone before I knew/read that that was an issue and of course couldn’t order rear entertainment. I ordered second row massage seats and read that could be the hold up too. So who knows! But it would be nice if they were more transparent during these times.

Good clarification - I think a few were assuming "built but waiting a final part" and "scheduled for production" were mutually exclusive, though as you pointed out, both can be true!

No worries, @KCNavilady. @bbf2530 and @jkeaton will tell you, I'm easily confused lol.
Ha! Well I am too at times. But I blame that on my kids and our new puppy!!

If I hear anything that is valuable I’ll pass it along. Other than that I’ll keep the temperature down until emails saying built and/or shipped are being circulated lol! This has been on my list of vehicles to own since the first build was out and a family friend drove it to our house when I was leaving for college. Always been a Ford girl up until the last few years. We just couldn’t beat the price/package on the Sequoia when it was available and the only one around. I’m just excited to get back to Ford and a Lincoln Navigator at that!

My original question was if anyone has actually received their 22 Nav yet… Unless my dealer is feeding me some BS, he told me last night mine is built and WILL ship last week of March/1st week of APR. Now, this was dealer ordered- I have no idea when or what priority code.

A dealership feeding BS? Could never happen…
Yeah I checked in this week with my dealer and they are still saying late April early May delivery but haven’t said if I have a build date and no email from Lincoln on build date. So idk how they can confidently say April/May delivery unless all of a sudden Lincoln manufacturing takes off and there are no shipping delays. (Ordered end of December)

Hi KCNavilady. You did absolutely nothing wrong and thanks for some clarification.

Regarding the "Priority Code" information: Again you did nothing incorrect. I was only providing the Priority Code information so others do not get confused a week, month or year from now when they read the information we have all posted here.

Out of curiosity...you mentioned your father is a retired Ford employee and your mother is "supervisor" for Ford. Without revealing any confidential information...what type of supervisor? Manufacturing plant, Corporate office...etc.?

Hope you get your Navigator soon and good luck.

Thanks for that! She’s in production.

Stopped off at my dealer to talk about why I’m now delayed into May. Sounds like they have run out of certain leather colors. If you are willing to change to Sandlewood or Chalet you’ll probably jump the line and get built quickly.

I wanted Chalet seats with the Central Park wood (who likes a green interior?), I really wish they would separate the Leather and wood trim options so we can truely customize. Ordered mine yesterday BL, Invitation Theme, Tow Package.... Lets see how this goes.

That’s what I ordered, too. L version

I was able to physically see and touch a 22 model year today. I really like all the tweaks and changes they made to this years model. The screen size looks much more impressive in person vs photos. Its large but not obnoxious. Seemed to work smoothly with sync 4. I was impressed and even more excited for mine to be built. This one is available for sale in Knoxville, TN if anyone is interested. Same dealership I have mine ordered through.
