2022 Navigator

.... I ordered mine on 10/22, Black Lable with all options, was asked by scheduling who contacted the dealer to remove the Ent. Option on 11/08 or significantly get delayed with no ETA. I had the option removed. Interesting I have a same build date as Slingha!

Dealer will install a VOXX unit for the rear Ent. It is very similar, same size and same MFR as the OEM, but no FireTV!
It is interesting GM has no issues getting their rear ent. screens!!!
Why go with a Voxx system? iPads are cheaper
I hope he/she is right, but I doubt it. Would be a nice perk of buying a Black Label.
The unsubstantiated rumors on this page make me chuckle.

I haven't seen a change to that date on Blue Oval Forum. And the pic I posted the other day shows 2022s having been built already although they are show vehicles not for sale. But, they can and have been built already.

Anything can happen, but January 18 is fast approaching. Let's hope that date

You are not seeing your trucks until sometime in March.

That is what I have figured in but what makes you say that with such certainty?

It's all rumor and conjecture until we get VINs and blend dates. Fun to discuss though.

I have my vin and my build date. Agree it’s fun to discuss. Your dealer should be able to provide them to you through their system. Vins are assigned once scheduled.
In fact, when your vehicle finally gets on a rail car, they can even give you the number of the rail car it’s on.

My salesperson is supposed to find out tomorrow when their ordering manager is there.

On the expedition forum, someone posted that the Jan 18 date was still good, but that the first run were all retail orders for dealers and that they won't start customer orders until ok to buy was issued, that's why most customer orders are scheduled for feb.

UPDATE:
Update on 2022 Ford Expedition production.
The Initial Production run of the 2022 Ford Expeditions is happening.
A total of 303 units are going to be in this initial production run.
Only Timberline, King Ranch (Reg & Max), Limited (Reg & Max) and Platinum trim (Reg & Max) trim levels are being made.
All of these units will be stock units for the dealers.
Retails orders will be made probably starting from Week 3 of 2022 . Once this production run is done and production run comes out to be good. then Ok to buy will be issued for the retail orders will be sent into production , that is the reason all the retail orders are scheduled to week and not day yet. If you see a production schedule change in your retail order probably some adjustments are being done.
Can't wait mine to show up in the locator.

So they build stock for dealers first with 'test' builds? Then once they determine those are ok, they build customer orders?

You probably have the production date (scheduled production Slot), but no VIN will be issued until very close to production date. I believe production time/cycle is about 3 days from start to finish. This was my experience when I ordered BMW X5s from SC Plant (production for X5 was 26 hours). Dealer is telling me 4-6 weeks delivery once the car is manufactured. I really hope they are wrong.

I hope they move up my schedule (Feb 21), my 2018 Expedition Plat. is out of warranty ((67K) and start having issues, hope Navigator does better with quality on 4th year in production, but all the parts I had issue with are identical with Navi!

-- Couple of random check engine lights, disappeared by itself, Loose Sensor?
-- Heater lines start leaking ($850 Dealer / $450 local Mech.) This would have been covered under Lincoln power train Warranty. but not Ford
--Windshield washer stopped working ($TBD)
I'm considering an order for a 2022 BL Chalet - anything else you've had issues with and/or any quality gotchas common w/ the Navs?

Any ideas I can expect for pricing?

I just negotiated an X5 in Sept and it was tough to find but I was able to get 4% off MSRP - any advice on what type of discounts (or ADMs!) I should expect on Navs? I'm on the West Coast and willing to use just about any dealer west of Sierras for the right deal

Joint mustang club of america so you qualify for X Plan pricing. That’s about the best you’re going to do these days unless you can find a needle in a haystack leftover 21 BL.
