2022 Navigator

Out of curiosity, I went to Edmunds. Unless I'm missing it, when I go to New Car Pricing and put in 2022-Upcoming, it only gives a narrative and estimated starting price. If it has 2022 pricing, I'm not seeing it.

I based my answer above on previous comments I had read.

I looked on Edmunds as well and found what the starting prices were supposed to be compared to the 2021 models but nothing that listed any option pricing.

Same here. Like I said, I only read on this thread, I think, that pricing was available. It seemed odd that Edmunds would have that but not Lincoln.

There may be something to waiting until most 2021 inventory is sold, I'm not sure.

As usual, you have to rely on yourself, not a salesperson, for information.

In my 2020, I have the Cargo Convenience Package. I wanted the tiered cargo system and roof rack. Separate package.

For 2022, there is no Cargo Convenience Package. After asking, my sales MANAGER told me it was confirmed to him that the tiered cargo area mgmt. system was standard on the 2022 BL.

False.

I did not opt on my 2020 or the 2022 for the Heavy Duty Tow Package. Guess where the tiered cargo system now resides. Why? No dang clue.

But, you can't believe even a sales manager. There is something standard on the 2022 BL called underfloor stowage. Not sure hat that is, but I don't think it's the cargo system.

I've been waiting on a salesperson to return our call on 2022 pricing. I'm assuming that for a Reserve, we'll be approximately 5k more than a similar 2021 from the Edmunds article. I'm not in a hurry since I won't place an order before I find out what Starlight Gray Premium Colorant HY looks like.

I asked Lincoln social media and got this: 'Regrettably, our team does not have any materials that showcase this particular color currently, but I urge you to keep in touch with your local dealer for updates.'

Ready, fire, aim! Lol

Alright, to follow up on my rant in post #105, the sales manager emailed me back just now. On page 3 of the 2022 Order Guide, "Cargo Management System" is listed under the Standard Navigator standard equipment. It is upgraded on the BL with the tow package, which only costs $940.

Since the OG, when you look at the Reserve, only lists what is above and beyond the Standard, but under Black Label, it states "The following equipment is standard on every 2022MY LINCOLN NAVIGATOR BLACK LABEL", I never thought to look under the Standard Nav for equipment. I interpreted that all to mean, it was separately showing everything in a BL.

My head is spinning....

Same color on my 2021 You folks protect the leather from Blue Jean Syndrome?

Haven't had any issue with that in mine.

I've seen a little bleed over onto the leather from jeans. I took a little leather cleaner and a horse hair brush to scrub it lightly. Came right out and leather looks just fine. It's interesting to see that it built up so quickly. I think it has to do with how these multi-contoured seats are designed. You're naturally more apt to drag across it when getting out. In my Expedition (nearly the same color), I've found this to be minimal.

Yes, I think I can't get that unlucky with these glitches. Plus, once I see what happens with the 2022, I can make the decision. I love the vehicle other than these software glitches, which, honestly, most people may not notice. However, I have, and unfortunately, they haven't been able to correct them.
Yes go for it my new 2021 navigator is awesome!

Can anybody describe the various second row seat options found on page 8 of configuration guide from earlier in this thread and reproduced here:

Second Row – Heated/Ventilated Dual Captain’s Chairs with PowerFold®, Tilt and Slide Functionality and 40/Console/40 Seat Structure (console with 5.8” LCD touchscreen and multimedia audio controls) 21L
Second Row Heated/Ventilated 40/20/40 Split Bench with PowerFold®, Tilt and Slide Functionality 21P
★Second Row Enhanced Massage – Heated/Ventilated for Multi-Contour Seats without Console 21V
★Second Row Enhanced Massage – Heated/Ventilated for Multi-Contour Seats with Console (console with 5.8” LCD touchscreen and multimedia audio controls) 21W

I'm particularly interested in the first option that says "Captain's chairs". What adjustments or features do any of these seats have.

Option 1 - 3 piece bench seat w/ heated & cooled outer sections

Hi Navi. While used car prices on previous model years do usually drop when a new model year is released, there is no set in stone rule. And any New model year price drop rules do not necessarily apply to the prices that Dealers sell their used cars for. For them, it is supply and demand and what they can get for a vehicle, not some arbitrary new model year date.

In other words, it is not as though we can say to the Dealer, "Hey, you need to lower your used car asking prices because the new 2022 models were just released".

And the biggest problem with waiting is that nice, "CPO's Reserve with 48K on it for $55k" that you are looking at now, may be gone by the time prices drop.

In my opinion: If you find something you like, negotiate the price down as far as you can, then buy it if you want. Waiting will not be worth it.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do, let us know how you make out, and good luck.

Thanks so much for the detailed response. I am supposed to go back to the dealer tomorrow with my decision. The vehicle is a one owner, no accidents and is in pristine condition. Based on these factors, would you jump on the deal? Not trying to derail the convo but would love your insight.
good morning, have u looked ar brand new lincolns ? used ones are the same price as new or more. i just picked up a 22aviator reserve in pristine white metallic with sandstone interior. the sticker was 60,795. with
20 in tires and elements package. i think you'll be better off with a new one. (4year warranty) bank of america
gave me a 1.74% (830 credit score) rate for a 20,000.00 car loan for 6 years. keep shopping and "good luck:

I guess since I am in reacquire status, Lincoln sent my confirmation email to the dealer instead of me. It was dated October 21. Giving teh benefit of the doubt, I will assume the salesperson n who handles these must have figured I received the same email.

Anyway, I have it now, and she tells me their ordering guru thinks a ballpark for mine to be built is February sometime. Earlier than I expected if that comes to fruition. It does get a higher (or lower, however you look at it) priority code.

Just ordered mine - not quite $10K like Black Label :)rolleyes:), but the dealer did honor the X-plan without any additional markup - which in this market is remarkable! I ordered the Reserve in Ceramic Pearl, Sandstone interior and the Heavy Duty tow package. Rear seat with center console as well. Turns out the Cargo management system is now a standard item (not the roof cross rails), and Active Glide is still part of the package even with the towing upgrade. First time for me in any Ford/Lincoln product, so I'm betting big on them!
I am looking to pull the trigger on the 2022 Navigator Reserve. Adding Heavy duty tow, and traction assist. My local dealer is quoting me 100k. I am looking to find a dealership that will honor the X-PLAN to bring this price down. Where can I find a dealer that will honor the plan? Thanks

Hi Kooky Luke and welcome to the Lincoln Forums. You need to call the individual Dealers and ask.

Let us know how you make out and good luck.

Thanks, I had seen in post that I quoted that this individual had found a dealer where they lived honoring the X Plan. I am in the Portland OR area and so far the 2 local dealers are saying no. Their allocations are supposedly low so they do not wish to use one on a not full price sale. Heck for the money saved, I could ship the car to my house after purchasing from a dealer that will honor the plan practically anywhere in the US. Cheers
