My Lincoln
2022 Corsair
Considering purchasing a 22 Corsair GT. It would be from out of state - so shipping fees on top of purchase price. Just wondering if you could speak in? I have read through the forums and owners either really love them or part with them.
It has 45k miles and I can get the Lincoln Certified Warranty for an additional fee. Thoughts? Should I bypass the hybrid and go with a Reserve?
Needing a quiet cabin and smooth ride for long commutes.

Hard decision to make.

I have a '22 GT Hybrid/Electric.

Lots of little issues with the vehicle. First and foremost, it was the last year for Sync 3 and a tiny 8" infotainment screen. The following year would see a 12" screen and Sync 4, both much better.

The Sync 3 in these vehicles is buggy. That, combined with the low processing power of the system means that there can be delays when changing radio channels for the change to be made and/or the information to change on your screen.

The vehicle has issues with seat movement that the dealer will be able to fix. The tailgate leaks when washing the vehicle. Not exactly the quietest ride when you get up to road speed. It does have the signature smooth ride that Lincoln is known for.

The Corsair isn't a very dependable vehicle. It has been through many recalls, one of which involved a potential engine fire that I don't think they have yet a fix for. I have been fortunate that my vehicle has run well (outside of software bugs). However, there are many reports across this forum and on the Facebook groups about transmission and battery issues.

If your heart is set on a Corsair, I'd go a year up. If you end up with the '22 it won't be the worst choice you can make, but I have a sour taste in my mouth about the Ford/Lincoln brand.

Thank you for the honest feedback! Really appreciate it!

A GT definitely, for reasons that include: stsrt/stop is not an issue; mpg can be great (my 2023 GT average mpg is 63+ at 17.5k miles).

For me,the absence of Blue Cruise in the 2022 would be a show stopper.
