2022 aviator
Has anyone with a 2022 Black Label aviator had any water leak or window condensation concerns? I just bought this used vehicle and it started with my front window having condensation on the inside and then I took that mats out and found my flooring on the drivers and back seat was wet. The dealer found a pin size hole on the back door after he discovered the tire well saturated. Took it back again and could not find where the water is coming in. They had it a week. Now they say I have to take it to a body shop to find the leak. WHERE could it be and why can't they find it? I love this vehicle and may have to look into Lincoln buying it back. I can't have a wet saturated car. Think of the mold and rust it could cause.

Yeah, not good. Sounds like a thorough check was done if they found a pin sized hole. But in the back door? That's a peculiar location. Do you know if they checked the sunroof drain lines? Hope they find it. You bought it used, at a Lincoln dealership? Maybe it is available, but I have not heard of a buyback on a used vehicle. Good luck!

Yes, it was a thorough check to find the pin size hole the first go around and an even more thorough check this second time for a week of testing and found nothing. They dried it out and put the back panels back and ran more water tests and no water. So, hoping my default, by putting it back together they fixed a seal. Then the condensation two days ago, was back with wet floor mats. The Lincoln dealership is sending me to a body shop now. The dealership has been amazing, I have to say. This is all warrant work as I still have the original warranty for this vehicle. I pray they will identify where the water is coming in. Thank you for your response!

Welcome to the Forum. 👋
In most cases, water pooling in the footwell is due to blocked sunroof drains. Have you had it out in the rain recently? The condensation on the windows is an indication of high humidity in the cabin.
