Does anyone know of a way to permently turn off the start-stop feature so you do not have to do it every time you start your car.

Currently it is a feature that has to be set each time you turn the car on. There are aftermarket solutions hardware solutions and an electronic re-programming tool called FORscan. NOTE: I believe it will void your warranty.

You may want to wait until your vehicle is out of warranty before you try one of those.

Very true. I think Lincoln is starting to make this harder to turn off as starting with the 2021 model there's no button for it, instead the option is buried in the infotainment screen.

I have found if you very slightly ease up on the brake pedal after the vehicle shuts off it will restart the engine. My 2019 has a button I can use to turn it off for the remainder of my trip. It goes back to stop/start after I shut the engine off.

You can get there quickly by hitting the center button between the centre air vents.
It must be the top right button from the three there - my bad.
