Hearing a metal on metal noise in the left front wheel when accelerating . It doesn’t happen all the time. No one can find the problem. Any idea what it could be?

Grinding noise? If so, then it's likely a failing IWE on the left or vacuum leak/bad solenoid that controls IWEs. Test the IWE system: there are very detailed videos on how to do it, like this:
(not necessarily the best video, but you can start with this one).
