Does anyone know of issues with black label seats ripping at perforations? My 2020 has rips in two places
Thank you, I was just wondering if anyone else had the issue, the perforations are larger than on my wife's navigator and that might be the issue, not enough material in between perforations. I am taking it to the dealer but I would imagine it would need to go to an upholstery shop and have the original material sourHi ID. We can always find someone that has had one problem or another on the Internet. While there are no "known issues" with the Black Label or other leather seats, things happen, defects occur, etc. etc..
Assuming there is no evidence of negligence/neglect etc., replacing the seat cover/upholstery due to defect in material and/or workmanship would normally be covered under warranty. So the best course of action would be to call and set up a service appointment as soon as possible. If you will need a complementary loaner, be sure to let them know so when you call for the appointment.
They will almost certainly need to order the seat covers, so it wil take probably two visits. If you plan it right, they may be able to just quickly look at it, take some photos and let you go on the first visit and you may not even need a loaner. But they will likely need the vehicle for at least a day to fix it once the covers come in.
Let us know how you make out and good luck.

Our 2021 Navigator black label with 12,000 miles has 3 tears in the perforated middle seats. The leather looks different than the leather in the front seats, especially when photographed.Does anyone know of issues with black label seats ripping at perforations? My 2020 has rips in two places

Yeah my 2025 nautilus with the better seats has this problem and I noticed it at 5k miles. I think it might be getting worse. This is annoying because the car I traded had the regular seats but they never cracked at all. I like the seats alot but this is not nice because I take really good care of the car and the seats are just falling apart with barely any use.Our 2021 Navigator black label with 12,000 miles has 3 tears in the perforated middle seats. My 2025 nautilus has this already. The black label comes with suede inserts so I imagine those do not crack but mine has normal leather inserts. I didn't want the black labels suede because I figure the full leather is going to be easy to clean and care for but now it seems like the suede is the best option for durability. I don't imagine suede will crack along the perforations. We need lincoln to issue a recall and replace our seats with a more durable leather or offer us suede inserts because I don't want to have to deal with this. If they replace it, what's going to stop them from cracking again. I personally loge the navy blue leather I have so it's a let down to see the crack and wondering how bad they can get after a couple years.Does anyone know of issues with black label seats ripping at perforations?
