2025 Aviator Reserve 201A
Not a problem with our 23, at least not yet.

Affected vehicles: select 2020-2025 Lincoln Aviator models built at the Chicago Assembly Plant between October 19th, 2018, and May 30th, 2025.

Yes! My 2020 Aviator has a missing C Pilar trim on the passenger side. I called my local Ford dealer who quoted me over $700 to replace it. Thank goodness for this recall!

Watch it like a hawk, especially when going thru the auto car wash!

I just read the link. There are well over 100K vehicles impacted. Peter - it implies that they know which vehicles (specifically) are impacted, regardless of if you've lost the trim now or not. To me that means it would should up in my Lincoln as a pending recall. Do you agree with my read?

I don't have a notice on my app, but I haven't checked the My Lincoln account. It would only show there it's one of the vehicles affected.

Now I understand. Picture is of window applique at C pillar. Can't attach video so this is a screenshot showing gap between applique and window guide. It's only held in at top and bottom rubber gasket. Zooming will show gap better. Maybe 1/8" to 1/4" gap. 2020 GT

I would imagine both the My Lincoln account and the app display the same results.

For now I'll assume I'm not impacted, but the next time I wash my car I'll examine closely.

I scheduled appointment with my dealer and brought it in on Sept 26th as the recall now shows remedy available. Service advisor informed parts had to be ordered. I assumed a few days parts would be in and they would call. Nothing. I finally called last week and he told me that it takes about a month for parts to come in. Has anyone had this repair done yet?

Got a second letter last week saying parts are now available. Called dealer and they had the part in next day and will take it in in two weeks to have it replaced.

I have an appointment coming up for an oil change and to have the winter tires put on. I also have 3 recalls, including the one you're having done and will schedule a separate appointment for those.

Just had my pillar recall done. They couldn't wash car for 24 hours to let glue dry.
Haven't picked it up yet because they also found a leaking rear pinion seal and are awaiting repair parts. Fortunately this is covered under power train warranty (54000 miles on vehicle)
