2016 MKX heated seat module location

Does anyone know the actual location of the front heated seat module(s) on a 2016 MKX? Heated/ cooled seat doesn't work and I have checked all the associated fuses. I unbolted and lifted the seat and could see the fan but did not see the module.

I do not know, but my guess would be under the seat as well. I'd suggest calling your nearest dealer parts dept. and they can tell you from the diagrams.

I looked at the diagrams before first post, unfortunately it was not clear where the module was physically located, its no 19 on the diagram. I will keep looking.

I have a 2017 MKX. The driver's seat heater stopped working last year. Was fixed under warranty and took them a couple days to fix. They had to deconstruct the whole seat to resolve and their first fix attempt didn't work. Can't remember what the actual problem ended up being but sounded like quite a job.

I suspect the module is in the seat back, which seems a bit odd. but for now my seat is working. There was one more fuse that I had not checked, fuse no 36 under the dash to the left of the steering column. (It is a pain to get to) The fuse was good, but after I pulled it to check and re inserted it the heated and cooled seat started working. I'm guessing that it somehow reset or reinitialized the module

It's under the passenger seat. Each seat is controlled separately by same module.

Hello! Has anyone figured where is the physical location of seat cool / heat control module is on this vehicle? Under the passenger seat only positions control module and 110v power inverter, no seat climate control module.

My 2011 mkx is located under the driver seat near the front.

I could be wrong, but isn't the module under the drivers seat for the seat/mirror memory?

The module is under the driver's seat, labeled DSM module. My symptoms were that the heated / cooled driver's seat did not work, but the passenger seat worked. I could not hear the blowers running at all on the driver seat. After I reseated all the connectors on this module, the driver seat climate control started working. There is a TSB which may address this issue:

Ford TSB SSM 47814
Some 2016-2019 Explorer, 2016-2018 MKX, 2019 Edge/Nautilus, 2017-2019 Fusion/MKZ,
and 2018-2019 F-150/Mustang/Expedition/Navigator vehicles equipped with climate
controlled seats may exhibit a buzzing noise from the front seats, front seats too warm,
and/or inoperative climate controlled front seats. DTCs B14BA:13, B1154:4B, and/or
B14B9:13 may also be present. This may be due to loose terminal pin fit on the driver seat
module (DSM) connector C341D (16 pin). If a loose terminal pin fit condition is found during
normal diagnostics per Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-10, a new service pigtail
connector (part number 3U2Z-14S411-BRAB) is available. Refer to Wiring Diagram, Cell
119 to make sure C341D is a 16 pin connector and not a 20 pin connector. Refer to Wiring
Diagram, Cell 5 for the recommended splicing procedures

Went for a drive after reseating the connectors, cooled seat stopped working again, wiggling the connector made it start working again. I then replaced connecter (341D) with the new pigtail as described in TSB SSM 47814. Everything working fine now. I don't know how much it would cost to have this done at a dealership, my cost was $66 for the pigtail (including shipping), took me about 4 hours total to complete.
