Just got my Truck back from the garage after it left me set along the road, they told me it was the Fuel Pump Driver Module, they replaced it and it was running great until I just went to HD which is about 25 miles away and on my way back I got about a mile from the house and the truck shut off, it will start right back up but only goes for about a 100 feet then shuts off again, it did this about 5 times but I made it home, any ideas why it's doing this?

I recommend taking it back to the garage that worked on it.

That's what I'm going to do, but they don't open until Monday morning so looks like I lose another day of work.

Changed the Fuel Pump Driver Module again and now it's running find after I took it or a test drive but the check engine light is on, any suggestions?

Pull the code(s) so you know what it's complaining about. If you don't have a code reader, most auto parts stores will read the codes for you.

cleared the codes again and took it for a test drive and left it idle for about 15 minutes and now everything seems ok..

Your garage may have used an off brand module. Anything electrical related I stick with Motorcraft, cost a few dollars more but it's worth the piece of mind. And less mileage on the shoes!

I agree and I usually do stick with motorcraft but being out on the road I had to have it towed and fixed at a garage, they put a Dorman part on and it must have gone bad, they changed it again and has been working good ever since.

I've used a few Doorman products. The PVC valve on my Town Car for instance. Decent parts, no issues personally. But I hear you on the dilemma, been there more than I'd like to admit. I'm hoping to never blow a coolant line on the Navigator along the road, $25 a gallon for the orange and it holds six. Yikes! Anyhow, glad that it turned out good for you.
