2005 Signature L aftermarket radio install

hello, I have a 2005 signature L, and I would like to be able to put an aftermarket radio into it while retaining all of the rear seat climate and etc. has anyone done this successfully? I haven’t been able to find any information online.

Contact the sales techs at Crutchfield. They can recommend a head unit with the features you want that will fit your vehicle. They have all the necessary harness adapters/connectors to keep everything in stock form.

I have a 2009 Signature L with an aftermarket Pioneer GPS radio unit. My steering wheel and my rear arm rest controls both work with it. I didn’t install it but yes you can retain all button functionality if installed properly.

Do you know if they kept the factory radio and relocated it to the trunk? From what I have read online that would be the only way to do it. Something about a module being in the radio that runs the back seat controls, including like the heated portion and stuff. Just trying to see if anyone knows anything about it.

That will probably be my next stop, I’ve used their customer service before in a sprinter van, and it was great. From what I’ve seen retaining the signature L buttons in the rear is difficult, and crutchfeild didn’t have anything on there website.
