Ah, the compressor would come on frequently as it sat. We went away for a week and came home to a dead battery. The compressor would cycle on and off until the battery was cooked. Ok....new battery. A complete kit was ordered.I did find one bag that had a bad leak .New bags, solenoids, air compressor, and level sensor. Some what a pain but, after all of that, no anything! Checked all of the fuses, relays, and the switch in the rear. Even replaced the relays. Nothing!
Ordered and received a used module that had been checked before it was shipped. Replaced it. Nothing!
Found the procedure online to re set the system. Key on and off, switch off than on. Don't drive them drive. Light is still on the dash and nothing....I'm at my wits end. Can someone please shed some light on my problem!

Break out a test light or voltmeter and trace the circuit back to the fuse.

But start at the relay. A relay is a switch that is controlled by another electrical circuit.
The controlling circuit can work all the time. However, if there is no power on the circuit being controlled, the controlling circuit is doing nothing.

I replaced my bags a couple months back, had a terrible time trying to get the system working. Took it to the dealer to read body codes (your dealer should be able to do this as well). It read an error on one of the bags. Tech decided to toss it on the lift and look; the connector wasn't fully seated. He unplugged and re-inserted and everything is fine. Lot of words to say: unplug and reconnect everything. If that fails, pay a diagnostic fee and it should be able to read what sensor is keeping the system from turning on.
