Hi I'm new to this forum so I haven't seen all the airsuspension posts.
I have a year 2000 Lincoln navigator and the air suspension is acting strange i want to know if it is normal or not. 1st I was putting a few boxes of tiles in the trunk around 500lbs and the rear suspension went all the way down there was no rubbing I thought the suspension is supposed to level the car so this dosent happen. When I park the car over long periods of time the suspension dosent lower or anything so i don't think its leaking.Also I don't feel like the car really goes up or down at all I can hear the compressor working after I turn the car on and turn it off the car maintains a normal ride height however, when I park it, it dosent feel like it lowers for easy access also when i put it in drive i stood outside the car while somebody was in the seat and heard the compressor but it didn't seem to go up at all.Also when i brake sometimes there is a lot of nose dive and the rear end comes up and sometimes the car deals with it fine,same story in corners sometimes there is a lot of roll and other times not so much. On the occasion when I'm driving the check suspension light comes on but if i turn the car on and off it goes away.
BTW this car is not a daily driver i only drive it once or twice a week
