Hi there,
This is my first post, so I will give a short intro besides my question regarding the airsuspension error codes.
I'm Mike, 40 years old, married, 3 kids, international foodtanker driver as profession.
I love USA cars, computers and my English Bulldogs and Bullterriers.
I currently have 2 USA made cars myself, a Navigator and a Firebird.
Problem is (as far as you speak of a problem) I live in Europe, Poland to be precise (I'm Dutch of origine, but moved here 8 years ago because of work and private life).
Here there are probably 4 or 5 services troughout the country that have some degree of knowledge on USA cars, but they're all like 400km or more away from my location.
And I would have to leave the car there for a few days at least so it's not that easy to get things done.
Now I had the computer readout because the suspension light came on, and the following codes were in the system.
C1725 - Air Suspension Front > Pneumatic Failure
C1726 - Air Suspension Rear > Pneumatic Failure
C1770 - Air Suspension Vent > Solenoid Output Circuit Failure
C1845 - Air Suspension Front Inflator > Solenoid Output Circuit Failure
I have a good mechanic close to me, but he doesn't know USA cars and their systems, and that worries me a bit.
At least he's honest that he doesn't know the car, so could be looking for ages to find the problems.
So if someone has a sound advise where to start looking for this issue, I would be gratefull.
I already learned by searching on the interwebs that the first 2 codes are more than likely a result of the second 2 codes, and probably I would have to start with the C1845 error and see what happens after that's fixed, but what items are involved to be checked/replaced here.
Compressor fires up just fine when needed and the rear is on normal height.
Thanks for any pointers.
Regards, Mike.
