1989 Lincoln Mark VII Blass or LSC?
True-it was 1988 model year. And in 1990 they all got LSC bags.
My \'90 bill blass had the \"Soft\" bags in it. But it was an early \'90 built in August 1989. It did not get sold until January 1990 per the marking under the hood from the Lincoln dealer in Green Valley, AZ
I believe that the engine code is an E or and F for the 5.0 And other than the BMW diesel, the Marks all had 5.0\'s
And please, for god sakes, dont forget to pick up halogen fluid!!
.......I dont know what Halogen fluid is..........
Other then to assume its the liquid form of the gas,

Keep in mind,
Slightly more then base understanding of cars,
They are more my brothers thing,
I am more happy with a ok runing car that has good brakes, tires, heat, radio, pretty paint and to make your own fuzzy seat covers with monster fur from fabric store,
Yes this car will probably end up looking like something from pimp your ride,

Its kept on the shelf next to the turn signal fluid, muffler bearings, motor cycle doors, sail boat fuel, signatures, and left handed monkey wrenches. :werd:

My \'89 BB has a 5.0 HO, digi -dash, 15\" wire wheels, all the BB badges etc., and the 1 thing an LSC didn\'t ever have (to my knowledge), a Lincoln emblem mounted on the header panel.

That\'s exactly how my 88 Blass was, until I changed it around a little.

whatever you do, don\'t tell the auto parts guys the ball joints are for a same year mustang. Hell don\'t even ask for ball joints at AUTOZONE. I bought 2 of them, and found out the ball joints they have listed weren\'t even close to working. You will find that buying auto parts for the lincolns is best done at NAPA, Car quest, Lee auto, and other legitimate auto parts places.

True, true, true. And Lee Auto is the shiznit. And the BJs are different. My comment concerns mainly powertrain parts. Lots of parts are different from a Stang, including, but not limited to- alternator, most suspension parts (but rack from a Stang fits and I believe steering shaft does too), and of course there\'s a whole slew of stuff that\'s not even on a Stang. When in doubt, just ask us.

The \'89 MK VII convert on Ebay claims to be an LSC. It has an analog dash, turbine wheels and what look to be LSC seats - BUT it has an emblem in the header panel.
After 18 yrs and who knows how many owners, it may have been replaced. :dunno:
