Looking at a 2026 Nautilus. Cannot figure out the purpose of the Parking Chime switch which occupies a choice piece of real estate in the center console. Even after searching the forum, I can’t get a clear idea of what it does.

If it is the switch Im thinking about its the one that has the P a triangle and signal waves on it, that is to enable/disable your ultrasonic parking sensors. The button turns on/off the dime size circles in your front and rear bumpers. These sensors are for obstacle detection and chime as you approach obstacles at low speed (IE parking near a wall or bollard) to warn you of the obstacle's close proximity so you do not impact the object with your vehicle.

That button occupies the place of the discontinued automatic parking assist button. Instead of a blank spot they just linked it with a new command.
