Car shut down

Hello I have a 2020 Lincoln avatar it shut off and won’t start I look up to see if anyone else Lincoln shut off and it has they said change battery so I did start right up drove it home and it stop a few feet from my parking spot not sure what to do

Hi Rebecca12. Blind internet diagnosis is not very effective in cases like this. At this point, after replacing the battery: Recheck all battery and cable connections.

You don’t mention if the engine will crank/turn over at all, or if nothing happens when you try to start it etc. If nothing happens, try jumping the vehicle. Or if you belong to AAA or another Servuce, call them.

If none of that helps, you will need to have it checked by your local Lincoln dealer (or Ford if more convenient). Hopefully it is still within the 6 year/70,000 mile Powertrain Warranty.
If the Powertrain Warranty is expired, you may be able to save some money by having it looked at by a shop/tech you trust.
