climate control goes up when it a bump is hit.

Anybody have a problem with there climate control adjustment on the drivers side taking off and going up to high when a bump is hit. On my 2018 MKT, when I am starting out....if I hit a bump of any kind, the temp control takes off and goes to hi. I can bring it back down by going to the climate control and bringing it down. Sometimes I have to do this several times. then its fine. And when I start out, if I hit the dashboard drivers side adjustment as soon as I start....many times that will stop it from going up when a bump is hit.

Hi sandman2. Does your 2018 Lincoln MKT have the “MyLincoln Touch” interface system? I’m not sure at the moment.

If yes…a possibility would be the FCIM (Front Control Interface Module) is beginning to fail.
It is a known issue, and one of the reasons the “MyLincoln Touch” and “MyFord Touch” interface systems were replaced. If it is a failing FCIM, it will usually only get worse.

If not…I don’t have any insight into where to begin proper diagnostics.
