My Lincoln
2023 Aviator
Please, I need help with finding the Active Noise control module in my Lincoln aviator 2023 model. I want to install an aftermarket subwoofer as the OEM subwoofer is blown. But to add an aftermarket subwoofer and AMP. I need to bypass the ANC with a harness. I have searched the entire car but I can't find the ANC anywhere near the radio unit. Please, do anyone have a picture of where the ANC is located in my car. Or can anyone point me in the right direction on how to find the ANC so I can bypass it. I would appreciate any assistance. I am not very savy with vehicular terms so kindly use layman terms when responding so I can easily understand or betterstill a picture of the location of the ANC module. Thank you

The ANC is integrated into the ACM. There isnt a standalone module. The only thing about ANC that is standalone are teh mics in the headliner. One above the driver, the other above the passenger, then another at the back of the pano vista roof above the back seats. I can see if I can pull a wiring diagram for you.

I need to know what speaker system you have. There are alot of diagrams between the 3 different speaker system. You likely have the Revel audio system but how many speakers will narrow down the diagram.

It looks like it is going to be a reprogram of the ACM to remove the ANC feature. There are the microphones as mentioned above....I can post a screenshot of the connector and what pins need to be unplugged if pulling the headliner to disconnect the microphones isnt your forte. Im unsure if disconnecting the mics will disable the feature without programming but its worth a shot. The Connector in question is C4240B and it'll be pins 15, 26, 16, 27, 17, 28 respectfully.

Thank you so much. What part of the car I find the ACM so I can unplug pins 15, 16 17, 26,27 and 28?

The ACM is located in the Right side quarter panel of the vehicle. See attachment. Its in the red circled area.

Also the above pinout seems to be for a lower level audio system so yours will have much more wiring, but the pinout is still the same. Colors will be the same too. The colors you need to look for are called out in the pinout and shown in color in the wiring diagram attached to the previous post.

Thank you. This makes my life so easy. Many audio installers haven't work on this car and had no clue what to do. I'm super grateful.

Now that I will be disconnecting the pins not disconnecting the microphones., do I still need to reprogram the ACM?

Shouldn't. It shouldn't work now since its not detecting input.
I have 4 ANC mics. Is the wiring diagram still applicable as it shows 3. Also the pin at the ANC that I need to disconnect are they still 6 or 8. I'm considering using a bypass harnesses ANC-FDH3 at the ANC. I found 2 mics at the back and 2 in the front. I have the revel 28 speakers. If you have a screenshot of the connector C4240B ?

That is it. Theres only the 6 wires. One of the mics might be for phone calls. Specifically above the driver. Ill look again...but Im sure thats the only diagram for ANC since it appears to be the same across all trims that have it

Thank you. Might be for the phone like you said.
