Comparison test posted today. Not gonna put ranks, but from what i can tell, the navs faults mirror most ppls experiences. Let's see if lincoln adds a couple things to make this thing great.

Pretty accurate assessment from what I have experienced... but, I have yet to drive the '25 Caddy or Jeep ... otherwise, my wife's '24 Caddy is way better with the ride and controls that my '25 Navi... and I have only driven the '24 Jeep and can say, I'm not a fan of them. The '25 Navi without a more refined suspension is inferior IMO, as I feel everything through the road right up into my steering wheel. The '24 Jeep was similar to the '25 Navi... the '24 Caddy's suspension is top notch.

Sounds like the '25 Caddy fell into the '25 Navi trap, putting things a bit too far out of reach. My wife's '24 has all the controls right under your right hand...

I'm still dumbfounded by why in the world, Lincoln put the Mirror, Pedal and ESPCIALLY the Cruise Control Controls, under the guise of the very cumbersome and distracting thumbpad thing on the wheel.
I get it's "techy", but whomever decided that and allowed that to happen, obviously isn't driving a '25 Navi on a daily basis.... or doesn't plan on ever engaging the Cruise Control when other cars are nearby, as your eyes are definitely distracted looking down into that dash window, to see where you're moving the cursor onto the activation switch for it all.

Its defaulted on. If your vehicle isn't on a bluecruise road, it will turn on lane centering with your adaptive cruise. You can turn off bluecruise in the settings and use that as standard. "(This is what happened on a test drive we were on, maybe someone who has one has a better answer)".

I'm trying to remember what was and wasn't on when I picked up my Navigator, but most of the features of the Lincoln CoPilot 360 are on. It's not like a 1 setting thing, it's multiple. You adjust them in the center screen for your tolerances of off - high alert etc.
BlueCruise and adaptive cruise control, you really just adjust your following distance and speed, and it does everything else.

Not gonna lie, every time i drive my dads escalade, I like it, for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, I start picking it apart. I dont rele see the love for that vehicle. I dont have a 25, and I dnt have my 20 anymore, but outside the build quality and a bit more cargo space, which is admittedly better than the fords, Im not impressed. The quality of material is better in the lincolns, with more soft touch surfaces. I believe the 25 caddy helped with this somewhat. The 2nd row tumble seats are abysmal and outdated. The center console is too high and makes reaching things more difficult. The seats could be better. His base akg is pretty f$%king good though, and it has serious wattage cuz its loud, but it wasnt as balanced as my 20s base revel, and from my test drive, the b&o unleashed in the expy is just as good. Also, I dnt like the implementation of the user interface. The rotary knob is more finicky than my wife's cx9, and it has weird limitations and restrictions. But the biggest problem is the drive. Simply, its bi-polar. At low speeds and on smooth surfaces, the ride is divine, and I like the fact that the nvh for the wheel amd pedals is elite, adding to that feel of plush smoothness. But at speed, or on the highway, it falls apart. The steering is slow like my old nav, but the body isnt as settled, making it feel extremely boatlike. The brakes, though strong, has weird calibration. It takes a lot of effort to get it to stop. And the ride, though absorbent and compliant mostly, is wallowy, esp on the highway. The rear gets crazy bouncy, which is exaggerated because its chassis isnt very settled. Yes, my 20 had more impact harshness and jitteriness, but on the highway, it was way more balanced and controlled. And no matter how I drove my nav, I never felt like I had to fight to keep it in control. I know this is a lincoln forum and most of yall have lincolns because you like em, I like to think I'm not brand biased. But I can never get fully comfortable in a gm product. Shame, his spec is gorgeous, i love the look. The gw is better to me as well, but its fugly. I guess the gm utes are just not for me.

In the post, I mentioned i had a 2020 navigator reserve. It was totaled last year. I was going to replace it, hence why I have a lot of opinion with other suvs as my wife and I drove all of them to determine which one we wanted. I received orders for an oconus assignment, so were not replacing it anymore. As of now, we have 22 mazda cx9 and 16 hyundai azera.

Ended up keeping our 2025 nav order and it went finally into production after a 6 month delay, 10-1. Finished on 10-13 and was delivered to dealership today on 10-20. Have an appt. to pickup on the 22nd. Kind of nervous due to some of the negative stories I've heard but also kind of excited because they supposedly addressed the issues they were having with the earlier batches and I was able to get it exactly as I originally ordered it back in march with the copper 24's. wish me luck everyone

Ended up keeping our 2025 nav order and it went finally into production after a 6 month delay, 10-1. Finished on 10-13 and was delivered to dealership today on 10-20. Have an appt. to pickup on the 22nd. Kind of nervous due to some of the negative stories I've heard but also kind of excited because they supposedly addressed the issues they were having with the earlier batches and I was able to get it exactly as I originally ordered it back in march with the copper 24's. wish me luck everyone

Hopefully they have resolved the problems that my ‘25 has experienced.
1- Cruise control not working… had to pull the bumper apart and reattach/fix some kind of sensor
2- Multiple recalls… one to fix a braking issue that actually feels like it got worse after the update. The brakes are very “grabby” … touch the pedal and you are in a nose dive with how much they grab
3- Driver’s seat (air chambers) wasn’t installed correctly or something and even after the fix, the driver’s seat is NOT comfy at all. So much for the 30-way seats.
4- Driver’s seat cooling fan has died twice now
5- Gasket around the moonroof literally fell off on my passenger last week
6- Car was delivered with almost $2000 in damage to the exterior… scratches and grooves all over and a pretty dented up running board

The krappy thing about all of this.. I don’t have a Lincoln dealership within 75 miles of me, so I am forced to use the local Ford dealer.. every time my Navi goes in, I have to take time off from work… My local dealer shares their shuttle service between 8 other dealers, so it’s a few hours to get dropped off at work and an hour or two to get picked up when/if they get the work done.

Been only a Ford owner for 25+ years.. this was my first and last Lincoln. Mr Farley preaches how much quality is a focus for Ford, but then I witness first hand, that this “brand new” and “luxury” vehicle has all of these issues and recalls… all before I have owned it 5 months and I only have 3000 miles on the suv.

I heard that’s why they delayed so many of them cause of all the issues that they had with quality control. It sucks to hear that! What month did you take delivery of your vehicle ?

Ordered it in early December, arrived in May.

I had 3 trips to the dealer within the first month and 500 miles.

Crazy it seems like all the quality control went to the 80k car and none went to the 120k car.

Wow! I took delivery of mine in May as well. Put almost 15K miles on it and my only issue is that the "Open on Approach" with the split gate does not appear to be installed on my BL. My dealer is working on getting me the answer of "why not" with the Lincoln rep.
It's unfortunately not the case with everyone, but I must say, we are "happier than pigs in shit" with this vehicle.
Good luck to all with your new vehicle. I hope you love it as much as we do... It just sucks to hear what chadwx is going through when we are so happy with ours!
