2017 Navigator L sub box upgrade question...

Hello all I'm new to this forum... I have been a lone time Expedition owner (prior years owned 2000, 2004, 2008) and I just picked up a 2017 Navi L for a great price. So this has the "THX" system and I would like to add a additional amp and sub box. What are you recantations for amps and boxes as well as how do you connect to the factory system?

I don't have any aftermarket add-on recommendations but I have always thought the THX systems were pretty great on their own. Don't they already have subwoofers?

It sounds good but the bass is not nearly as good as I would expect... And yes it has a sub in the OEM factory location on the rear driver side panel in the cargo area.
BTW the factory sub in my 08 Expedition hit harder than this system.
