Cabin air filter replacement?

After changing my cabin air filter on my 2021 Nautilus I vowed I would never do it again. The amount of effort wasn't worth it.

I have the BL 2024 Nautilus now so the regular maintenance is covered for 3 or 4 years. This would be part of the regular maintenance.

Just a little added information: Keep in mind that for complementary services, many/most Lincoln dealerships will follow the Lincoln/Ford maintenance schedule.

And in the Lincoln/Ford maintenance schedule, the cabin air filter change is determined by mileage, not time.
For example, in my 2018 MKZ, the recommended cabin air filter change is every 20,000 miles. At my annual mileage nowadays, I would not get to 20,000 miles and a cabin air filter change before the Black Label complementary scheduled maintenance would run out at 4 years. Or maybe get one change at the very end of 4 years.

I only mention this to remind owners that it is a mileage related maintenance item. Therefore, those of us who drive low annual mileages may need to request the Service Department to change it sooner than the schedule states, if we want it changed for free. Also, keep in mind they are not required to change it sooner than Lincoln recommends, since they only need to follow the Lincoln Maintenance Schedule, as it appears in our Owners Manual.

All of that being said, most Dealers will usually have no qualms about changing it at an owners request. Simply keep in mind they do not have to.

Good points. Ditto on the wipers too. They're covered under the maintenance plans and given how expensive the 2024 wipers are, be sure to get them replaced under your maintenance plan when you can.

I'm cleaning up my rough document that has the Cabin Air Filter replacement photos and text provided by Tammie/Jason on Facebook.

I do have the '24 Nautilus Work Shop Manual (WSM). In the WSM it consists of two procedures, Glove Compartment Removal (4 pages) and Cabin Air Filter Removal (2 pages).

Are you sure that is covered? I know it was not on my 2018 Navigator Black Label .. nice if it will be on my 2024 Nautilus BL

If anyone has purchased their own copy of the big factorymanuals '24 Nautilus WSM PDF, I've generated a WSM Table of Contents PDF that lists all of the bookmarks and what page number they are found on. I've also split the main WSM body into 11 smaller files, am presently working through the Wiring Diagrams (Those will be files "24 Lincoln Nautilus WSM p11124-12119" and "24 Lincoln Nautilus WSM p12120-12947").

@markfm Thank you very much for putting this together. I was stuck after removing the side trim panel (with airbag symbol). I removed the 7mm bolt but wasn't sure where to pry the padded trim panel because I wasn't sure where the 4 clips were. I'll try again.

Factorymanuals.net. $70 list, they seem to always have at least a 20% discount. It's the 2024 Nautilus manual, which as we know also applies to the '25. The '26 might be different in a few areas, due to the hardware changes needed to support Blue Cruise 1.5 (some different sensors compared to ours).

885MB, almost 13000 pages, PDF, with extensive bookmarks.

I took my copy, turned bookmarks into a Table of Contents, then chopped the big file into multiple smaller pieces (with the original page numbers embedded). The smaller files are much more useful to me.
