Driver side mirror

I just noticed my mirror has a weird looking tint on it. I believe the mirror is supposed to darken automatically at night but go back to normal during the daylight hours. It’s just like the mirror is stuck between darken mode and clear mode. Anyone else experience this deal or am I losing my mind?

The Monochromatic glass is no longer available so it will only be regular mirror glass.
Check youtube for helpful videos. There are a few videos on how to remove the glass and replace it
