My Lincoln
2022 Corsair Reserve
I made a post about this a while back. It bothered me that when I shut off my 2023 Lincoln Corsair Reserve and open the door, the radio would keep playing for a second or two. It was a little annoying as I park in a parking garage and the music would be a bit loud (because that's how I like it). When I would open my door, the music would be so loud in the parking garage. Two nights ago my software did an update. This issue has now STOPPED! I am very happy about this, even though it was not a "major" concern. Thank you Lincoln, for listening.

Also, my 2023 NEVER has the same issues as my 2022 did with the Head Up display slowly raising up!

I have this situation in my 2023 Nautilus. It is a bit annoying.

same in my newly aquired 2023 standard corsair. Neve a problem in my old 2020 corsair.

I don't like the radio continuing to play after the door is opened, either. Maybe there will be a software update for the 2025 Corsair that eliminates that.

I just noticed it with a 2025 Corsair supplied as a loaner. It took a second or 2 for the radio to turn OFF after opening the driver's door. I don't see it as a big deal but wil mention it when I take it back to pick up my Aviator.

For a second it makes you think the suv is still running.

I have a '24 GT III and just got a APIM module update on 11/8 that fixed the radio playing after you open the doors. The update is 25.2.1.6.5.

For those with GT's, we're *way* behind ICE Corsairs and even other Ford products for updates. The APIM update I just referenced rolled out to other Ford products in May. Also, this update removed the reference to flat towing from the online owners manual. I got that update on my previous '23 Reserve III in May.

BlueCruise is also pretty bad on the GT. It almost ran in to the back of two cars I was following with it engaged and in each case it triggered the "pre-collision alert" and I had to intervene to avoid colliding. Not exactly confidence inspiring.

Remember, I'm comparing BlueCruise performance ICE vs GT in identical operating conditions and the difference between them is night and day. I hope BlueCruise gets updated, and I'm not talking about beyond 1.2, so it works for me like it did previously. And no, I haven't taken it to a dealer. Advance tech combined with dealer diagnostics is no bueno unless the problem literally stares them in the face.
