'24/'25 Nautilus Widget Updates?

I had my vehicle at the dealer last week for door module recall and also for the software update s to the APIM to fix the wireless charging Icon.
With these mega updates I now have the new widgets installed on the system. New rolling digital clock and compass. A nice surprise. And the wireless charging icon works on screen now as it never did before.

Thank for the update. Can you tell us specifically what update delivered the new widgets?

Thanks for the info. I do not have these issues and I have the latest TCU update. It is not clear to me how these updates would give us the new widgets? Am I missing something?

TSB 25-2157 requires updates to the GWM, TCU, and APIM. I think we may have received the first two OTA but I'm not aware of anyone who received this APIM update. Apparently, the widgets are programmed within this module.

Apparently linc24 has the new AIPM. thanks for explaining. I guess we will have to wait for the OTA APIM update

I'm having all the symptoms of an update in progress the past couple mornings. Interior lights that stay on/turn on while driving, weather app that has a delayed update. Those are consistently indicators of an update installed message within a week.

Maybe the updates are out of sync -- OTA may not mean latest.

There's a couple of looong threads on this already. Some great ideas. It's a year later and here we are, excited by the emergence of a compass widget and a new clock widget.

Just to let you know that the update took a couple of hours via the dealer installation. Don't know it an OTA is capable of such an intense program duration or file size.

This would make sense. Both of the major UI updates involved the APIM and were not OTA.

Does anyone recall getting an APIM update OTA?

After checking some 2025 Nautilus models they do not have these new widgets so the updates is very fresh as the other 25 Nautilus were built months ago.

For my wife the primary driver of an early 2024 Nautilus she does not play with the widgets. As long as she can change radio and ac/heat all good for her. I would like to see more functions on the display myself. Ford has to rethink as the tariff issue is front and center, good as this vehicle is assembled in China. Wife happy with her choice and plans to keep it for a few more years.

Wonderful. How do we get it? At the current pace of updates I assume it will be available right after I trade my 2024 in for a new 2028 model
