My Lincoln
2025
Our 2025 Nautilus hybrid has 3000 miles and we are seeing all kinds of issues on the 48 inch display. The right arrow for the radio scan is missing most times from the display, sometimes the temperature reads 20 degrees when it’s 70 outside. The most recent is on the siruis screen none of the scan or channel advance or alert buttons work while all of the lower are for HVAC works ok.
Will a soft or hard reset fix any of these things? Also sometimes the passenger mirror won’t fold back out properly!

Thanks for any assistance!

Mike

These are not really display issues. They're UI issues and known bugs.

Regarding the temp display, it's showing Celsius rather than Fahrenheit. It's happened to me a couple of times and has corrected itself with the next start. It may correct with a reboot, but I haven't tried that.

The steering wheel audio button bugs can be fixed by muting and then unmuting the audio using the large center knob. You press the knob twice quickly and the buttons should start working as intended. Until they don't.

Thanks I will try that! The bigger issue for my wife right now is the Sirius buttons on screen not working!

Those buttons should start working properly with the mute/unmute from the large center knob. That works for me, but it is annoying.

fwiw, I usually play audio from either Sirius or Spotify and the problem is much more prevalent with Sirius.

I thought the large center button was power on and off not mute?

Yes, it shows audio off when you press that button, but I'm not sure what the difference is between turning the audio off and muting the audio.

Hi hinckley. In our vehicles, “Audio off” means the audio system is powered off.
Muting means the audio system is on, but the sound is muted.

Good luck.

Now I’m not sure how to mute the system but I will try turning it off and on quickly with the big knob. I tried that yesterday and left it off for a few seconds but it did not help. I’ll try two quick taps!

Gotcha. And when you turn off cruise control, is it "powered off"?

FYI, after doing the soft reset, holding power know down along with right arrow on steering wheel for 10-12 seconds then everything went blank for 20-30 second and as everything reset and it all works! Yeah! Thanks to everyone!

Hi hinckley. I’m not 100% sure what you are referring to when you say “turn off”, so I will answer in this way:
If you press the Cruise Control OFF button, the CC system is then off. It will not remember the last speed setting if we press “Resume” etc.
Then there are the other situations where we hit the brakes, etc. which essentially will pause the system, meaning we can press “Resume” or the equivalent and the CC system will resume the previous set speed.
There are other situations and caveats, as explained in the Owners Manual.

Hope I answered the right question…lol…and good luck.

A system reboot (holding down center volume knob for 10 secs and release) generally fixes all those “glitches”. As soon as I see my temperature display on the big screen say it’s 5 degrees out was I know it’s much higher, I reboot. Why it jumps from Fahrenheit to Celsius , only the gremlins know.

Next time you bring it to the dealer, ask them to check that your car has all the latest updates.

I have experienced 3 buttons randomly not working: the right scan arrow on the haptic control on the steering wheel for the audio system disappears; the Auto Hold button light on the console below the center screen doesn't always light up; the Max Defrost light on the console below the center screen doesn't always light up.

When I had my vehicle in for service I got the "could not duplicate" message. I explained it is random and not persistent but 100% irritating.

I guess we should all be calling the Lincoln Concierge and get our issues documented at the corporate engineering level.

I have been preaching this from the get go!
A few folks seem to be proud to be "Lincoln's Guinea pigs" putting up with the continuous issues the 2024 + Nautilus is experiencing!
These problems will not get addressed, nor go away if owners do not report them promptly, and complain when not properly addressed!

Continuous resets performed by owners cost FoMoCo nothing in warranty claims. They love it...you are saving them $$$ on warranty.

Most amusing are the those that carry battery boosters in their 2024+ Nautilus's "just in case" of a no start! If you experience a no start, call for assistance! Getting it started on your own dime & saving the call does nothing for you...except giving Lincoln a license to produce & sell a troublesome high maintenance vehicle!

I love the excuse often given..."I do not call because I have no time to wait for assistance, so I jump & go"
You are just giving FoMoCo a free ride to pawn off these sub-par vehicles with no repercussions!

I am glad a few are waking up and recognizing the need to have these ongoing BS issues documented.

I thought I had already posted this but I don’t see it. After doing the reset procedure with the power off button, the screen went blank for about 20 seconds and then slowly from left to right began reloading. All functions were restored so evidently there are some software glitches. I hope lincoln is working on an update to resolve this because it’s very annoying on such an expensive car!
Thanks to all for responding. As for most things today, the forum groups are more helpful than the manufacturer!

In my situation, I never call because we've never experienced either of the issues described by the OP, and we just passed 1 year. We did have one no-start in August. They replaced a bad battery. No sleeps or start problems since.

People primarily post here to discuss issues. Not everyone experiences issues. But yes, those that have issues should complain.

Update, the soft reset fixed the siruis controls not working and initially fixed the right scan button but after 10 minutes it went out again!

Mine does the same thing. It is especially irritating when I'm on a long trip.

For those with 'scan control' issues, have you tried "Hey, Google"? It's virtually all we use for changing the audio source. It's particularly useful when the driver is alone.

You can do that but it also interrupts the audio while Google is responding. It may seem like a minor complaint but this IS a fault with the vehicle.
