Reverse mirror tilt?

Just got a 2018 Navigator. It is equipped with the "Reverse Side Mirror Tilt" feature, but wasn't activated/enabled.

Found a video on YouTube (link at the bottom) that walked me through the steps to activate.

Technically the instructions worked, but only one mirror tilts down at a time. After shifting to "R", whichever mirror is selected from the door panel, that is the mirror that tilts.

If Driver mirror is already selected, then that is the only mirror that will tilt immediately after shifting. If I want the passwnger to tilt, i have to manually push the passenger-side mirror button. At that point the Driver side mirror goes to the normal position, and simultenously the passenger side tilts.

Is there something i'm missing so that both mirrors will tilt down at the same time after shifting into reverse?

If you want both at the same time, best way is to set a memory button (like number 3) for full down mirrors and hit it right before you park.

Does this feature work on a 2024.. yes or no without using 3rd postion
