Engine recalls

Once again DomDoobie has hit the nail on the head.
Okay lets all head over to the Lexus Forum and bad moth their product ad nausem. All one has to do is look on line for issues and then just pile on in a nice way.

I checked out the Toyota engine replacement issue and found that the engine involved is the gas powered twin turbo 3.4 liter V6. Not the Lexus 4 cylinder hybrid engine in my car. The only Lexus model involved is the LX SUV according to Car & Driver.
And this issue only has 824 warranty claims involving Toyota and Lexus Thank you Future Lincoln Guy for pointed out the Toyota engine issue. You sir hit a foul ball. My model Lexus was not recalled for any engine reason. Not the same engine.

I guess you didn't see this during your search

What is the major problem of Lexus ES 350?

These models had some problems related to the transmission and engine cooling, which can be quite a headache.

Why is this thread still going? There are no engine recalls for the 2024 Nautilus. End of story!

I think it went sideways. Hey that's okay sometimes folks just gotta post some stuff. 😁

I win as my Lexus ES300h is not recalled for any reason. Plenty of other problems with the 2024 Nautilus.

Future Lincoln Guy. You don't have to read or respond to my post??? You still have time to cancel your order.

I personally have never done this as I usually don't open troll posts. But for those less disciplined there is the ignore feature. If you do not reply to a troll they get bored and go back to pulling wings off flies.

You can backtrack my post all the way back to the 1st of April and see my post regarding problems with my Nautilus. That's not trolling. At this point I am thrilled that that car is out of my garage.

You win? What are you, 12? You're starting to sound adolescent.

Honestly, you have a decent car. I like Toyota. I just bought one for my son. And I had a Camry once too, just like you. But it's not a competition. There's hundreds of cars that people buy for all sorts of reasons.

You're comparing a car that's been in production since 2018 to a vehicle released this year. The ES300h had quite a few issues it's first year. Of course it's going to be a more stable vehicle after 6 years. So what? We all could have purchased from a long list of dozens of cars that were several years into their production and played it safe. Millions of people do just that and buy cars for their reliability. That's one choice. We could have waited a year to buy the Nautilus. But we were attracted to all the good it offered. A large number of us pre-ordered months ahead of production, knowing what we would be getting.

Anyone who's had more that a couple of cars knows that the first year model will have more issues than a car in long-term production. I believe everyone here expected some problems. Didn't you expect that when you bought the Nautilus?

And what was the big sin with the vehicle? The unstable software? A mis-applied injector part? Noisy brakes? The only 'recall' is a pinch issue. How big was that? I don't think anyone in the forum even had a clue that problem existed until it was announced by NHTSA.

The software is the only issue now and is improving with each release. I expect by the end of the year this vehicle will be very nice without any of the annoyances you gripe about. What about then? Will the car suddenly change from a piece of crap to a good car? Would you still tell someone not to buy it in 2025?

Thank you for reminding us all of this feature. It's the first time I've actually used it in over 20 of participating in automobile forums.

And for everyone else . . . PLEASE STOP FEEDING THE TROLL.

swindler. Yes I would adviser folks to avoid the Lincoln Nautilus.. Why take a chance on the Nautilus. I think most of the cars problems will be resolved. However my car was a piece of crap in exchange for $67,000.00. Like I said earlier---I have purchased many new cars and this was the worst car I have ever purchased.

I am taking a break too......... from you.

I'm not sure you are seeing this from the 10,000 foot level. If you had owned our car instead, you would have experienced none of the issues you had. We've been virtually bug free. Would your opinion on the vehicle be different based on a difference of one sample? If we owned your car, maybe we'd hate it. Maybe not. There's still a lot to like.

I'm not going to tell you the car did not launch without issues. But many on here experienced the issue you have and still love the vehicle. Those of us who have held on to it now have a vehicle much better than it was during the launch. If the few remaining minor issues are addressed in this imminent software release, the vehicle will be as good as we could have hoped.
I had issues with my 2019 Sierra Denali, mostly the 8 speed auto sucked. Other items small and GMC took care of them all except the 8 speed auto never shifted right to me. Dumped it in 2022 at height of COVID shortages in vehicles and got almost what I paid for it on a 2022 Sierra Denali and so far it has been flawless with the 10 Speed Auto, only item needed replace was Onstar module. I guess I am a gluten for first year vehicles.
