2024 delivery schedule

Vger may have hopped a railcar. There is an update dated 7/9. The last update was 7/5 when it arrived in Portland.

When the car is loaded onto a rail car in Portland, is the Lincoln Vehicle Tracking Site updated? Mine arrived in Portland 6/18, and was updated today, 7/12. What does that mean. Thanks.

I think it's updated every time it changes positions....whether it be off the boat and onto rail or every rail stop on the way to the destination. Mine was in Portland at the same date and I have it in my garage now. The "Last Updated" field changed every few days since 6/18 and it was actually ready for pickup at my dealer on 7/9. I'm in the Detroit area so I think we might get cars delivered quicker than most locations.

My dealer is hoping he will see an update on Monday. As mine has been showing as in transit since late May. Last update was June 27. He expects it to hit Toronto rail yard any day.

After 3 weeks in port of West minister BC the train left this morning headed to Toronto with mine on board. Will be at rail yard in about 7 days average time.

Mine is most likely on the same train. That is a long time sitting at port waiting for rail to Ontario!
Did your order show an update as of this morning? How do you know. Just curious.

Yes I check the report this morning. I work at dealer.

On the Lincoln tracking site mine shows no new updates.

Three weeks waiting for rail is not unusual. Average might be less, but not by much.

Btw, if you ask your dealer for a VINView tracking screenshot, you might get detailed tracking like this.

I haven't been seeing people post these snapshots lately, but most dealers will accommodate the request.

The whole logistics process must be complicated. Vehicles are stored after built until the ship quantity is met. Then transported and prepped for loading on the ship. Then unloaded, prepped for rail travel, then for truck to dealer. They must have to power them on at times.

It gets more complicted because the ship is not filled with just Nautilus's as the ship stops in other ports. They may load up other vehicles ( equipment) from China and then stop in other ports in Korea and finish loading the ship before making the final voyage to North America. It works well.

Exactly. The RoRo ships can carry 6000-8000+ vehicles and the most number of Nautilus' that have been delivered is around 3K. We've seen ships take 5-6 stops in Korea and Japan before heading east. We've seen vehicles transported to Korea, staged, and then catch a different ship to NA. Only a few have been lucky enough to have Portland the next stop after Shanghai.

If you watch ship traffic it looks extremely chaotic. But it's really quite smooth (as long as you don't try sailing through the Red Sea).

If your vehicle was on a ship on 6/24 then it should have arrived at a port and be on a railcar somewhere. Your best bet is to speak to your dealer and get a VINVIEW that will pinpoint its location.

Mine shipped on 6/12, boarded a RORO on 623, arrived in Portland on 7/5 and boarded a railcar on 7/9. As of yesterday, it was in Wisconsin.

I contacted my dealer and he says VINVIEW says my Nautilus is still "on the water". He says VINVIEW generally isn't very accurate until the car reaches Vancouver. Still no ETA on the car yet. :(

We've seen instances where VINView was tracking the wrong ship, particular when the vehicle transferred to a different ship in Korea, but when the correct ship is tagged, we've found the VINView tracking on the water pretty good. Perhaps not as accurate as rail, but we're talking about a 5,800 mile route. You don't need precision.
