42 - Process Engineer in Aerospace MRO.
Still a techy at heart but lost interest to some extent. I used to build PCs on the side, custom cases, phone mods. Was learning several programming languages. Now I just don't have patience for any of it.
I own all Fords, first was a 86 Lincoln MarkVII LSC that I 351w swapped in my garage. Its still sitting in my garage waiting for me to finish a custom infotainment system.... been 20+ years.

I'm 74, retired business owner. We owned a MKX for 8 years and tow it behind our motorhome for RV Trips. The 2016 was our first Lincoln and it was chosen mostly because it was what we RVers call "flat-tow capable." In other words, 4-wheels on ground behind the motorhome. The Nautilus Hybrid is also flat towable (ONLY the hybrid). I have to purchase and have installed special towing equipment to facilitate the process. Most cars are not capable to be used this way and the RV industry publishes lists yearly to specify which cars are capable.

I owned an Ad Agency for 25 years and sold it in 2003. I then started a fairly large network of websites catering to a musical instrument which I was lucky enough to sell to a Manhattan web investor in 2017. I had to be tech savvy for both of those businesses.

We travel about 4-months a year in our motorhome.

Retired as a 32-year Systems Engineer who designed, wrote requirements for, ground and flight tested user interfaces, search systems, and other reconnaissance-related subsystems for airborne USAF and some foreign aircraft platforms including all RC-135 models (Rivet Joint, Combat Sent, and Cobra Ball) and the British equivalents. Also spent ten years in the USAF as an Airborne Russian Cryptologic Linguist flying on those same platforms.
Previous vehicles were an Explorer ST and Corvette Z06 (650 hp/650 lb-ft), both of which I drove much more aggressively than my Nautilus Hybrid.

I was going to edit mine, but it's too old now. I felt guilty about not providing more background, like y'all did.

I ~retired after my 27 year career as an electrical/software/systems engineer due to an illness. The first half I spent developing GPS receivers back in the day when it was primarily used in defense systems — for all sorts of platforms. Then I joined a startup involving GPS and other logistics technologies (as the Director of Engineering) that ended up being sold to GE.

I actually grew up in a 'General Motors family' and summer job'd and interned at various departments there, but the brand never stuck on me. By my 3rd car I was shopping the field. This is my first Ford/Lincoln product, though.

Nearly 73 and a retired mechanical engineer. i spent the last 20 years of my career as a national operations manager for Siemens Building Technologies reviewing energy savings projects being sold to a variety of sectors. I have a 2013 Audi Q5, and have loved it but the tech in the nautilus sold me. It’s hard to unsee that 48” screen. Only about 800 mi so far and no problems ….yet. I haven’t been made aware of any recalls for my car yet. Where would I find out if there are any other than to contact my sales person?

Thanks. I went there and there are none to date. Seems strange since there are so many out there. Perhaps it has to do with when I received my car (4/10/24). any way now I know how to find some info I might need.

Just turned 54 I'm an Automation Specialist at Fords Kentucky Truck Plant currently working with the Clear Coat Robots in Super Duty Paint. The Expedition and Navigator have their own separate and newer paint shop at the plant. Been employed with Ford/Lincoln at the Kentucky Truck Plant for 26 years.

Six months ago, I never would've believed that I'd be obsessed with a Lincoln. But after moving to Florida, where all the roads are straight, full of traffic and no fun to drive, I decided I wanted pure luxury. And I got it.

Btw, in my late 20s, when I couldn't afford what I really wanted, the original Audi Quattro, I bought my only other FoMoCo product - a Merkur XR4Ti. I thought I was buying a European sports car that just happened to be built by Ford. It turned out to be a crappy 1980s Ford that just happened to be built in Europe. It's been a long road back.

Just a bit of a non-sequitur . . . but since we're talking about demographics, it would be really useful for members to complete their profiles with details of their car (especially hybrid vs non-hybrid) and their, at least, approximate location. It makes a big difference in so many of our conversations.

Hinckly, me too. We've owned a dozen BMWs between my wife and I, plus a couple of Porsches, Audi, Jaguar and Mercedes. But then in 2000 we moved to Jackson, Wyoming and everyone from Billionaire status on down drove 4-wheel drive beaters. Car status and driving for "fun" really changed after that for us. We got into RVing so, we had various large SUVs until getting an MKX to use behind the motorhome as a TOAD and my daily driver.

Of course, my wife is still BMW all the way. Last year she got a new all-electric BMW i4 eDrive 40 and loves it to death.

I'm enjoying the Nautilus Hybrid and learning all the new tech features.
