2024 Hybrid Nautilus (Engine Problems)

Got it. Thanks!

I checked a couple of random VINs in my local dealer's stock and found was built in November, the December.

What would a build date be, do you think, to be reasonably certain that the engine issue is less likely?

Right now, the only answer we have is March. The advance notice letter indicts all hybrids built through February. We are waiting on a formal action plan which will identify the suspect population more clearly.

Hi

I ordered a 203A Hybrid Nautilus back in January. Although my Nautilus has been selected for manufacturing (it was selected a few weeks ago), it still hasnt been assigned a VIN yet. I was wondering if these engine problems might be the reason why the manufacture of my Hybrid Nautilus is taking so long. Have they stopped assembling the Hybrids?

I also ordered my 203A Nautilus Hybrid on Jan 3rd mine was built on Mar. 9th and shipped Apr. 24th. The scheduled build date was the week of Feb. 26th. So no the engine thing didn't stop mine.

Update on my 24 hybrid that broke down after 380 miles. It is still at the dealership. They have 4 other Nautilus hybrids at that dealership with the same issue (suspected Fuel injectors). Dealership stated that they can't order parts and are waiting from corporate on next steps. Still waiting on hearing back from Corporate on the case I created. Hopefully should hear back today.

Maybe this has been discussed, but do we know if ALL hybrids made during the time period referenced were made with the same model fuel injectors?
I have been trying to determine this. Noone has been able to verify the P/N on their injectors for me. You can get a picture of the injectors pretty easily by sticking your cellphone down to the left side of the airbox.

PN and batch/serial numbers are visible on the side of each injector.

**UPDATE** In case anyone cares... made it on 535 mile round trip (on less than one tank of gas BTW!) with zero issues. Car drives like a dream and this was the first trip I could really try BlueCruise. I'm a happy customer so I hope any of you here with the injector failures give Ford a chance to make this right and stick with the vehicle. I truly believe these are wonderfully unique cars. End rant.

The dealer is replacing the ones in my Hybrid as I type this message. I have asked my sales guy if he can supply the old and new injectors. Not sure this will fully resolve the issue but I’ll let them throw parts at it and see how it shakes out.
Tim.

So if one has those numbers, is there a way to check then?
Will need more data but eventually we might be able to determine if the replacement P/N matches and we might see a batch number correlation with the production dates.

Injectors in mine are P/N P2GE-9G929-AA

Glad to hear it. I have been driving mine without fear. I'm passing 3000 miles now without any issues with several trips over 100 miles each way. Highway I generally always get 32-35mpg and city ranges from 24 for short trips and 40mpg for longer trips.

I am closing in on 2400 miles and also very happy with the car, but apprehensive of course. Completed 1,100 mile trip without incident. Scheduled Return 1,100 mile trip in 30 days or so. I’ll try to get a picture of my injectors in the next day or so.

Hi Jacyte, I just heard from the sales guy and he provided some info on the injectors. I’ll try to attach the photo of the new injectors. He indicated that the old injector ended with a letter B.
Doesn’t sound like the same part number that you showed earlier.
Tim.

But those are Canadian injectors. 🇨🇦

Interesting that the part number shown by Tim was the series used by the 2019-2023 Nautilus.
