2024 Lincoln Navigator has the old Blue Cruise 1.0 on it.

LOL at you believing a salesman and not looking at the window sticker that says BlueCruise 1.0.

Confused at this response. I never said I talked to a salesman, and the window sticker saying blue cruise 1.0 is not too different than what I said with context. The buyers of the vehicle as well as ford themselves said that even with bluecruise 1.0 being equipped, it could be upgraded to include the newer updates with a software update. The owners were saying they haven't been given what's promised, until this week that is.

Software update is a repeative term, the software was upgraded in Q1 from active to blue …

I'm not aware of any Navigator getting an upgrade from 1.0. Are you referring to the post from chgoedgar? If so, I'm guessing they are referring to their 2024 Nautilus which comes standard with 1.2

I have a reserved 2, it has 1.2
Are you referring to your 2024 Nautilus or a Navigator? If Navigator, what year and software version do you have?

I have a 2-week-old 2024 Navigator Black Label. It has Blue Cruise 1.0

BTW, my Nav is missing the front camera washer and Touchless Rear Lift Gate.
I just got my 2003 blk label, salesman cant tell me if my bluecruise is complimentry, how much did you get yours for? I was able to neg to 98k

Hi Alkemist. After taking a look at the Lincoln website, I believe the 2023 Navigator Black Label comes with a 4 year complementary Blue Cruise subscription. https://www.lincoln.com/technology/bluecruise/

Just make sure you have that “98k” negotiation in writing, since it will be up to the Dealer to update your vehicle subscription when the time comes for Blue Cruise subscription renewal in 4 years/50,000 miles, not Lincoln.

Keep us updated and good luck.

Hi Alkemist. Oooops! Sorry, I misunderstood and thought you were stating you had “negotiated” with the Dealer to have your Blue Cruise subscription extended to 98k miles. That was why I stated to be sure you had it in writing.

I now understand you were discussing negotiating the price to “98k”. My mistake.

Good luck with your Navigator! 🍻

My '22 Nav is scheduled for another OTA update. This one says "Refined Steering Assist". "Your vehicle's steering software has been enhanced to improve power assist, facilitating a smoother steering experience with every journey."

Hoping this is a step closer to an updated BlueCruise version.

Is Blue Cruise only supposed to work on mapped highways or everywhere? My 2022 Navigator turns on handsfree driving on side streets at 35 mph.

I just did a 5 hour drive. Today, I noticed it said that BlueCruise was active, not ActiveGlide. I had an OTA update the other day. Not sure if that is when the name changed on my vehicle. I am still hopeful the updated versions will appear sometime.

You seem to be getting OTAs that I'm not getting. Are you part of an Early Access or Beta program? You said you are "scheduled for another OTA update." Scheduled on your Navigator or is the dealership is applying them?

Also, can you please post your current version number? I see you have a 2022 Black Label. I have a 2022 Reserve and I haven't received an OTA since November 2023. I'm currently on SYNC 4 Version 23202 Revision 956

I just mean my app is showing I have an update available. My vehicle must not be connecting to my wifi, so it hasn't installed, even though I have automatic updates scheduled. Not part of any beta program. Guessing since I have updates scheduled but I'm not connected to wifi, my app is letting me know.

I'm in Denver for a few days, I will try to remember to check my Sync version.

I got it OTA last week. I am not in a special program. It tightened up the steering by about 30%. They should warn you. It's a quite a difference.
Which year and model do you have?

Strange coincidence, but I got a notification of a software update last night, but it has nothing to do with steering.

Enhanced Dashboard Alerts

This is my first update since 11/23.

I'll post the latest version after it updates

I got that one pushed to my vehicle last week.

I really wish there was a website with all the software updates listed along with the release notes. I've tried searching multiple times with no luck.
There likely is and you (we) do not have access for that.
The access may be limited to dealership techs. And maybe curtained techs that now have a password that expires if they do not update their training periodically.

Just making stuff up. But it would be easy to do in this high tech world.
Dealership technical training (and mandatory new model introduction) was always done in person in centralized parts of the country.
Now those classes can be done on line at any time.
The company can control access and the class can be repeated for the tech that was a refresher.

Making all updates available for the consumer could pose issues depending on the level of an update.
TSBs were never designed to be available for the consumer. They get to the consumer because in paper format that can be reproduced or sold if a store closes. In electronic format (email) can be viewed if it is forwarded.

Same version for me. I assume this is from OTA updates.

Thanks for checking. I find it mind boggling that there is no way for a customer to tell what version of software has been applied after an OTA update.

Not only that, but the updates used to show in the Message Center on the mobile app. The latest update I got for the Dashboard enhancements doesn't show in the Message Center whatsoever.

You can always check your account on owner.lincoln.com and see if your software is up to date. Mine shows that it is.
