My Lincoln
2024 Nautilus Reserve III Hybrid
Today I ordered a Reserve II hybrid from incoming dealer stock which I can’t wait to get it.
The hybrid that I test drove today did not have the blue badging anywhere. It was the regular badging on the sides and on the Lincoln emblem. Seems like a manufacturing error and something people should look out for if that is important to them. I probably wouldn’t have noticed, but the Lincoln rep is the one who commented on it. She was perplexed as to whether it was a hybrid or not because of the badge colors.

Did anyone think about opening the hood and looking to see what was actually there? The Hybrid portion takes up the whole right side of the engine compartment.

That is too funny! We did not and I regret not having a look. But the car was a hybrid as shown on sticker and starting quietly etc

How odd.

The trip widget shows number of miles total and on electric. There's other clues as well.

It's NOT funny. My very first hybrid I purchased was a 2020 Toyota Avalon Hybrid. The sales lady took us to the car and we test drove it and everything was great. I kept asking where the charging screen was as I couldn't find it. Needless to say she was clueless as a bag of rocks. So we went in and did the paperwork and traded my car and drove our new Avalon Hybrid home.

I called my buddy who talked me into buying a Hybrid and asked him about where the charge screen was that I can't find it. He asked if it was a Hybrid and I said yes. He said go out and look at the trunk lid. I parked in the garage and walked around the car and noticed it did NOT say Hybrid on the trunk lid. I opened the hood and it was full but of the wrong stuff.

I ran in the house, called the dealer and they were closed so I left a message. They had to drive all the way to the east coast to pick up a Hybrid that matched my choices and drive if back to me. They didn't charge me anything extra because they took the blame for selling it to me as a Hybrid. They honored the price I paid and no charge for transporting it to me.

Whew, that was a close one.

Now that’s a story! I’ve owned two hybrids and this will be my third. The Camry hybrid was my first followed by the 2013 Ford Fusion. But you are right in that there are no more hybrid badges, just the blue to distinguish. It is easy to miss.

Jacyte is correct. If the car has the Jet Package, the hybrid blue will not be there. If the car is a Black Label trim, the hybrid blue will not be there.
I ordered the BL with Jet Pkg. I wanted the Blue but what the heck, it's only a color and I'm color blind. So it's all good.

Hahahahahaha, too funny. Personally, I'm a debadger, I've been wondering if I could take it off without leaving any holes and such. I really hate advertising for the car company's. I guess that's why they put the Lincoln in lights now.

I don't like dealer advertising either. I'm thankful that the dealer didn't stick on one of those chrome dealer badges. I always take them off, but this time they saved me the trouble. Our temporary tags are still in one of their license plate frames, but it'll be gone once we get our plates.

The Lincoln Star emblem in the center of the grill is illuminated on Reserve and Black Label trims. It illuminates with the welcome embrace and headlights in 'white' with the ICE engine model and 'blue' with the FHEV model, which is blue even when not illuminated. That's about the only and quickest way to identify a FHEV.
Also, the 'Lincoln' lettering in the rear light strip only illuminates on the Black Label trim and shuts off once the vehicle is shifted out of park; this is a legal requirement that prohibits white lights on the rear of a moving motor vehicle.

I have a Black Label FHEV (hybrid). My Lincoln Star emblem on the front of the car is NOT blue, when it's lit up or otherwise. As mentioned above, cars with a Jet Package (all trim levels) do not get blue branding anywhere on the car. Neither do Black Label cars of any type (with or without Jet).

The only blue is between the hatch of the Lincoln star logo. The star still lights up white, just like the ICE.

Thanks for clarifying. Seems a change from the blue star on the Corsair GT and Aviator GT PHEVs.

Lol, I've never understood how owners of this type of luxury vehicle (or any vehicle for that matter) drive around with dealer advertising on the back of the car. I good-naturedly (by seriously) told my dealer that I wouldn't take my car if it had any advertising on it at all.
