Re: CarPlay - doesn’t a Sync icon show up on your CarPlay screen that takes you back to the Aviator controls (if memory serves me right…wife has the car)

I have the same prob w/CarPlay in my 2022 Aviator Grand Touring. Yes, there is a sync icon but it’s very distracting to have to click that in order to exit CarPlay just so you can see the HVAC controls & set temps then reselect CarPlay then WAZE or other apps. Talk about distracted driving?!

On mine, when in CarPlay and you adjust the temperature, it overlays the temperature display on the screen and you can see what temperature that you are selecting. After a second or two, it disappears.

Do you have Sync 3 updated to the latest version? Sorry, but I don’t remember the current version number.

Yes… all software is up to date & APIM was just replaced. My 2022 Aviator grand touring does not function like yours (I wish). The temp doesn’t flash so you’re able to briefly read it. Concierge & dealer say this was changed for my car & yr. I assume they’d both know but maybe they’re wrong???

Those are the versions I have but temp doesn’t briefly flash while using CarPlay so need to click SYNC, then change temp, click CarPlay then WAZE to get back. Crazy.
