2024 delivery schedule

How would you compare it to Mercedes's Ambient lighting. Like if you look at Mercedes's ambient lighting at night and then Lincoln's which one would you say is brighter and letter looking how would you compare it?
It's been at least 10 years since I've been in a Mercedes. My sister's ML350, I think it would be. I would have no idea how to compare them. Sorry.

Mercedes ambient lighting is over the top. I love it, but others think it's garish. The Nautilus only has three swirly lines of ambient lighting on the front doors and in the BL, on the back doors. There's also some background lighting in the footwells and door pockets. It doesn't compare to the Mercedes in the least. They're in very different leagues.

I live in Ocala area. What does "Orlando is where vehicle deliveries go to die." mean? Most of my mail and shipping comes from JAX but there are items that get delivered from Orlando. I have never purchased a vehicle for delivery to Ocala before so I'm not sure where it will go before getting here. Having said that, this statement disturbs me greatly without an explanation.
My current dealer has had numerous vehicle end up in Orlando depot by rail. Waiting to be trucked from there. They have had to wait weeks for some to arrive. A drive of 50 miles. They have offered to pick up at their own expense only to be told nope.
When leaving Jacksonville they get on trucks immediately. If going to dealers.

Agree, JAX moves them quick. My Lexus 450H+ arrived there from Japan on 4 April 2023 and it was delivered to the Melbourne dealer on 6 April 2023. I took ownership on 7 April 2023.

I sure as heck hope it doesn't go to Orlando to get to Ocala. I would be bummed by that senseless delay. Thanks for letting me know.

If you want the interior to look like Tron then go MB. For the same effect you can always add additional lighting to any vehicle though. Lincoln uses a more subtle effect and I think more classy. The dash screen provides plenty of ambiance and you really don't want too much light in the car at night. the animated widgets look alot better than any ambient lighting MB has IMO.

Yea I agree because I am used to Mercedes ambient lighting. The way they have lighting in the center consoles and literally the whole car lights up at night the Lincoln didn't look like that.

What about transport? When I got my x-plan pin it showed $7xx. It has now change to the $1595. My trans cost is $1395 on my window sticker.
Ford's A/X/Z-Plan discount price applies only to the vehicle's price and not the Destination and Delivery Charge shown on the sticker. The rationale has always been that this charge is for the transport companies and not the vehicle manufacture and thus cannot be discounted. I believe the D&D charge for the Nautilus increased from $1,395 to $1,595 but should be price protected to whatever date the order was submitted and accepted.

Delivery charge is a negotiated Teamsters contract. No discounts.....🤣🤣

My car was not pre-ordered, but was purchased from one the dealer's first batch of deliveries. When the window stickers were generated for the car, the D&D charge was still $1395. That's what was on the sticker when it arrived 2 weeks ago. And that is what I was charged. I also used X-Plan pricing. The X-Plan pin website is out of date (in several areas).

However, there were also other Nautilus cars that have window stickers of $1595, reflecting Ford's increase in that pricing. So depending on when your car was manufactured and/or sticker was generated and/or what your purchase agreement states, that is what you will pay. I'm relatively certain you won't be getting the outdated $7xx D&D price stated on the X-Plan site.

Update: I just signed into the X-Plan partner site I used and it has been updated to reflect the $1595 price. It also has the typical "all prices subject to change without notice" clause on it.

Does it have the under-car lighting as well? A lot of dudes like that.

Mine does. But mine also has center console ambient lighting along with in the ac vents on the edges of the screen which is like 25 inches and , where your feet sit, the doors it's like a spaceship in there. And the photos of the Nautilus don't look like it has that much ambient lighting that I am used to.

This thread has gone grossly off topic. This is supposed to be about delivery.

I'm in Orlando area and my vehicle came directly from JAX. It wasn't very long after it arrived in JAX that it was loaded on a truck and bound for the dealer (I think a couple days). I would guess that OCALA and other CFL areas will be the same but maybe the truck makes more than one stop IF there is less than a truckload for one dealer. The entire truckload was bound for my dealer so it made a straight run from JAX to my dealer.

Which berth is Lincolns's.

601 is primarily for Ford/Lincoln, but it's not exclusive.
Ford is using Hyundai Glovis as its logistics provider. Glovis America uses terminal 6 and more specifically, Berth 601 at Port of Portland. BNSF services both berth 601 and 607, the latter I believe is used by Honda.

I've been monitoring the progress of my BMWs, Audis and Porsches crossing the Atlantic for close to 20 years, but you guys are at a whole different level! It's awesome!!
