2024 delivery schedule

If your vehicle was scheduled for production, it should have a VIN by now. If there's no VIN, then it certainly did not go into production on 2,/26, regrettably. Ask your dealer for the VIN and try to track it yourself.
Again, my question is for the other folks scheduled for last week. As of the week prior none of us had received any communication.

Got it. You're trying to find out if anyone else saw any hint of production. I was just reinforcing that the VIN assignment is the first step for production. It literally can't start without it.

I know this stage was the most frustrating for me because you have NO status, and nothing to even check. Best of luck, @RedHoncho.

Has anyone who had a scheduled build week of 2/26 received any updates from Lincoln? Mine was scheduled to build the week of 2/26 but I haven't received an update.
Crickets. I asked my salesman and he hasn't responded yet.

Dealer said scheduled for 2/26 and have heard nothing like @RedHoncho . I've called Lincoln Concierge and they knew nothing of 2/26 and NO VIN has been issued as of week and half ago.

Portland will be busy again with four ships scheduled at Berth 601 this weekend. Triumph Ace, Grand Pace, RCC Amsterdam, and Glovis Sunrise are all scheduled between Saturday and Monday. Glovis Sunrise remains the only strong candidate for Nautili.

Just called Lincoln Concierge since I haven't heard anything from the dealer. They continue to say the Build is still In Process. There is NO Scheduled Production Date and NO VIN has been issued.

So I guess my dealer lied about it being selected for build on 2/26/2024.

I don’t think they lied to you, my build date ended up being 1 month later than originally estimated. No part of this process is precise, it’s all estimations, with many variables that impact actual dates and times. As you can see by the numerous posts on this board, it takes a lot of patience to special order a car, we’re all experiencing the same frustrations - hang in there, you’re in good company.

Wait is Glovis Sunrise the one mine was on.

Their imprecision can go both ways. My original scheduled production week was 12/25/23. Production started 11/23/23.

We think so, yes.
The picture you guys sent last Wednesday matches what my salesman had told me that it passed Japan. So I am guessing that it is correct but when it docks and the status gets updated I'll let you guys know so we can confirm. I asked my salesman for another update about Friday and he just stopped responding I left multiple voicaeials emails and text messages and he won't even respond anymore.

I appreciate the pep talk. Unfortunately this is not my first rodeo. Actually this is my 12th vehicle I've ordered direct from the factory. I'm well aware of the timelines and the variables involved in the build process. Please believe me when I say every one has gone according to the schedule provided except for 2. I am STILL waiting for my 2022 Ford Maverick Hybrid to be built. Ford sent me numerous emails promising they were still going to build it. Then all of a sudden about May 2023 the emails dried up. And now the Lincoln. If they say it's selected to build the week of 2/26/2024 I expected it to start the week of 2/26/2024 otherwise don't give that date out.

My only conclusion is it is definitely a Ford/Lincoln thing. Note to self.....

Nope. Later this week.
swindler:
How do you track once car arrives in Portland? My last update was 03/01/2024, first update since 01/29/2024, so I'm assuming that it has landed in Portland.

It was Miraculous Ace that dropped off 1,800 vehicles on 3/2, but it was at the dock on 3/1.

Really, the only way is to continue tracking is to request VINView traces from your dealer. The vehicles are leaving Portland on BNSF trains, and BNSF is the only one of the big four that secures their tracing with a login. And you can't get a login unless you're a customer, and even then you're still limited to the shipments you can see.

BNSF does not handle the East, however. So if it transitions to UP, CSX, NS, you can track it then. There's instructions earlier in this thread for CSX. I can post the others if someone needs them.

Mine went from Portland to DFW entirely on BNSF in 13 days. (No transitions also makes it faster.) But I was only able to track via VINView.

Watch for your Last Updated to update again. That will likely mean your vehicle was put onto an autorack rail car. It should start moving then. Some move right away, but most take at least a week or two. Mine took three weeks.

@swindler , I have a dumb question. I see a lot of folks in this thread mention to "watch your Last Updated" to update again. This is how you know there is an event happening.

My question is what or where does one find that? Do you log in and watch it daily?

I don't have a VIN yet nor a Build Date now. I thought it was 2/26 but that hasn't happened. Is the "Last Updated" referenced on the page that once I have a VIN and Order Number I can monitor from that screen?

Just trying to prepare for what I hope will be happening soon. THANKS

Yes you have to watch it daily. Which I am still having to watch, but no update for 28 days after loaded on a railcar.

Hybrids should be flowing in. We got seven today.

I'm supposed to pick up mine tomorrow, if they got all the prep done today. It supposedly arrived yesterday. Mine was not a pre-order car. I just saw it was "in transit" on the dealer inventory website and I called to see if it was available. It was. So, I grabbed it.
