2024 delivery schedule

I will usually wait till I get home for that. but I might bring some this time. I often go without frames altogether. But in Florida we don't need front like I did in Texas.
Ahh I'm jealous. In CT we need fronts and it really messes up the look of the nautilus front end.

We got word today our vehicle is getting close. It's next door in Oklahoma. That figures. We're out of town next week.

I'm not as worried about the stickers/frames, but need to make sure they don't install door trim, tint, lo-jack, striping, or any other dealer markup. I understand that's less of an issue with the X-Plan. I'd also prefer they don't mount the front plate bracket, especially if it drills through the bumper. But they usually do so they can display their placard.

Edit: While @agogley is correct that it's required in Texas, probably 1 in 3-4 don't have one. It's not particularly enforced.

@Shopaholik, all I can offer today is (a) I reviewed VINView tracking and as I've said about a couple of other ships, I can guarantee that the VINView tracks are showing us the Glovis Countess. Everything matches down the line and there are no other ships even close to matching that footprint.

And (b) as far as not stopping at Portland, all I can say is that GC dropped off 1,249 Hyundai vehicles at Richmond, and I see no import records for Tacoma at this point. It may have been picking up exports at Tacoma, or the import records may just not be available yet. I did see it on the Portland schedule at one time, but I have no theory as to why it would skip over that stop entirely.

Perhaps VINView was wrong the entire time and your vehicle was on another ship? I think the only way we'll figure it out is to get more information from Lincoln.
I did get an update from my dealer, the screen shots are poor to say the least. My car is in Portland, but have no idea what day it landed because nothing says the date, and the Lincoln website didn’t update when my car made it to port. 🤨 I have an ETA of 3/13-3/19🤞.

Well, that's great news as far as I'm concerned

My bet is that you were never on the Countess. Somehow, somewhere, someone entered the ship data incorrectly and you got mapped to the wrong ship. What's particularly telling is that the VINView shows it's trace to Richmond, and then it suddenly hops to Portland when they scan it coming off the (real) ship. I feel strongly that it IS in Portland, as it's only a physical scan that would place it there.

As far as the correct ship? RCC America is a possibility. It unloaded 1,501 Ford vehicles at Portland on 2/21. But the vehicles are listed as coming from Korea. Could it be Ford is aggregating vehicles in Korea before shipping to NA and the import records don't distinguish it originated in China? I wouldn't think so, but we are using a 3rd party tool for analyzing imported vehicles. And we've seen this before. Maybe..

Regardless, congrats!

Yeah, it’s bizarre that my car hasn’t updated. I was looking at ships that came in to Portland and did see the RCC American and also New Century 1, both vehicle vessels, but I don’t know how to tell what they had on them. New Century also went to the Bay Area (Benicia) before Portland. I think the other thing that threw me off was that these are not Glovis ships, that I am aware of, and I was only looking at Glovis due to the VinView. I do hope it updates when it loads on a rail car so I have some sense of when it leaves Portland.

I agree, it’s great news… I was seriously wondering if it was lost at sea. 😂. If all goes well I have no more that 3-4 weeks.

Where did this come from, the dealer? Different that what I’ve seen so far, perhaps a difference view on VinView. I would say your car was on the same vessel as mine, I also had a 1/17 date that my car shipped out. Your car likely is in Portland right now waiting on a rail car and will arrive to your dealer between 3/22-3/28. That’s my best guess.

Did your car update on the Lincoln site or does it still show 1/17, curious? Mine still says 1/17 but is in Portland.

As I told @agogley my vehicle is still on a railcar near Portland 15 days after sitting at the port since 1/22.

I'm pretty sure this is the old tracking system. They would refer to it as Vehicle Visibility Reports. I thought that system was taken down. Either the dealer hasn't been transitioned or they're stubbornly still using it.

I agree it sounds like @nyy077 was on the same ship — even though that would mean the mystical Countess/Not Countess. The depart time doesn't line up exactly with a ship departing, (but it's close to the Countess). Maybe that's the time the vehicle was scanned on ship?

Mine is in neighboring Georgia so I expect it to hit JAX next week and maybe get here by March 15th.

Still got yours before mine. I ordered in June and was on the same ship.

It’s best to go in and sit with them. Then you can click through all the screens.

Did you glance at the vessel New Century 1? I can’t see prior port, but it was in Japan on the 19th (just don’t know what time zone) and did go to the Bay Area (Benicia) in CA so a lot of it lines up. I am not as savvy as you so I can’t determine what was on the ship or if it was in Shanghai. The drop in Portland would have been a bit early 2/12 and my window range was 2/14-2/20 - but totally possible.

Edit - I thought I was replying to original poster. I was curious as to his status online as mine never updated when my car made it to Portland.

I was referring to your Lincoln vehicle status… mine didn’t update when my car was offloaded and placed in port. I am just curious if yours was. Screen shot for clarity.
