2024 delivery schedule

Fyi, I was thinking back and my window sticker first became available about a week after the ship left Shanghai. But I don't believe there is any strict timing to be expected.
OK thanks. He texted me couple minutes ago and said I don't have a picture but it should be heading this way within the couple days. I don't know if he means it will leave in a couple days or has another stop and then will leave to come this way because my Lincoln order track hasn't updated yet, so I am confused.

As we understand it, many of the updates on the entire production tracking system are still performed manually. There are delays at times, mistakes at times, or even inconsistent data. Don't expect precision.

As far as the boat, it should leave the dock quickly. Shanghai is an extremely busy port with over a hundred ships serviced every day. Actually those surrounding waters around Japan, Korea, and China are the busiest in the world. They won't let a ship sit at a dock, but it may anchor somewhere. I don't think we've seen a ship go directly from Shanghai to Portland yet. So expect a delay as it makes a couple of other stops, or worse, has to anchor waiting for those stops to open up.

So then do ships leave once a day or once every couple days with the Nautilus's since they don't hold boats.

I'm about to tell my dealer that I'm waiting til April Max and then after that if my Nautilus doesn't come I am cancelling it and I will go get the Audi RS Q8. I waited for this thing long enough I was expecting to have it by January February because that's what the dealer said when I placed the order.

It's absolutely crazy a dealer would give you a time frame like they did. When you ordered yours they hadnt even started shipping yet. You can see all the lack of knowing and lacking of progressing we've all been going through. Monday will be 4 weeks that my vehicle has been sitting in Portland. When it was on the ship, it was delayed over a week for some unknown reason even getting into port, it just kind of idled just of the coast for almost a week.

My opinion is, if your going to put a "specific" timeline on it arriving save yourself the agony of constantly checking for little tidbits of info that we all share on this thread.

We're all in this together, none of us know anything until the vehicles show up. We're just sharing experiences here.

We talked about this. Nautilus' are built and held near the port until they have enough. About ~2-3K is typical. Then a ship comes in and takes the lot. That's roughly every two weeks. BUT, that doesn't mean the ships arrive in Portland every two weeks. One could take 2½ weeks and the next one 4 weeks.

It's not the specific timeline. It is that they promised me it'd be here by February latest when I ordered it, and now then they said end of February, and now they said Late March. So I am saying I'll give them some grace and wait til April, but then after that I don't have anymore patience left, and I am trading in one of my cars to get this one. And I am trading in my Cadillac Escalade for this, and when I checked the value in September to now it has dropped significantly. The thing is I travel a lot so I change cars every 1 to 1 1/2 years. And the more they keep delaying my delivery date the more miles I keep putting on the car which makes the trade in value drop. And that's the reason I said April because then it'll become 2 years with this car, and at that point it would be better to just get a new one. I think the Audi RS Q8 is nice too.

You know that's funny. I was just thinking that my dealer has never given me a date, nor have I ever asked. The only expectations I've really had is the info I've got from here.

And yeah, the RS Q8 is nice. But that's in a completely different class. That's an much bigger difference than @KurtV's X6. Wouldn't you want to threaten the dealer with a comparable car, like the SQ5 (even if you would actually buy the RS Q8)?

Does anyone by any chance know what the 0-60 on the hybrid models are?
I've seen no formal tests, but I've seen estimates from 5.9 to 7.0. Motor Trend estimated 6.0-6.8.

I mean I guess you're right. I should threaten them with that I was just telling you guys that if I cancel the Nautilus that is my next preference. The dealer may think I am just saying that to get the car there faster so your right I should say something more along the competitor line of the Nautilus. But in reality that would be what I would buy if I cancelled the Nautilus.

Hello, if my salesman sends a txt that he received an eta of march 18 22nd does anyone know if that has been found to be accurate. Does that mean that it finally has been loaded on a rail car so it updated him?

Yea that's what someone told me the Nautilus is 5.9. But so many people are saying different things I didn't know what to trust.
The 2023 2.7 is rated at 5.9 to 60. No ratings or even estimates yet for the hybrid. The gas model will be closer to the previous 2.0 model, around 7 seconds.

Has anyone bought an extended warranty? Can you purchase them later or pay for them separately with say a credit card?

I really doubt your dealer would care. Seems the interest in the 2024 Nautilus is higher than previous models.
I had a Corsair PHEV ordered and couldn't take it. It was sold in less than a week. Dealer made more money as I am Ford retiree.

If an RS Q8 is actually an obtainable/reasonable vehicle for you I'm surprised your first pick is the Lincoln. The Audi is double the price and targeted at a completely different consumer. Double the HP, Half the fuel economy and easily twice as rare.

Well my car is due to the dealer today, so we will find out shortly how accurate the information was that they gave me. The latest I was told two days ago was that it was somewhere within the area. So we’ll see.
