Is there a known issues "list" or thread on here (or elsewhere) for the 2017-2020 Continental...?

I've been following this forum for about 3 years. Based on posts here, there are no chronic issues. The most frequent problem posts are questions regarding glitches in manually trying to update the console software.

Hi polo1. As vegascruiser stated, there are no particular/common issues to be wary of. Just the usual, used vehicle due diligence.

However, my opinion is that apples to apples, I would recommend the newer the model year the better. Also, while I am not 100% sure, I believe the 2017 models may have been equipped with 3G modems, which are now obsolete, while the 2018+ models were equipped with 4G modems. But again, double check that information.

Watch out for the 2.0 engine. Major know issue there with cylinder head developing micro cracks and ruining the engine. Was resolved from 2019 up I believe.

2.0 engines did not go into the Continentals.
