2024 delivery schedule

Canadian delivery UPDATE: it looks like the speculation of Silver Sky (Thank you Swindler) is right on target. Although events page shows an arrival of 02/07 not what the ship info site says for arrival but…. Fingers crossed. Photos attached

All I'm going to claim is that your VINView track is the Silver Sky. Could VINView be referencing the wrong ship and your vehicle is actually on a different ship? Arriving on 2/7? Maybe. We still don't know how it would have boarded the Silver Sky. Who knows? You could get a call from the dealer to tell you your Hyundai Tucson has arrived.

I just about choked on my coffee!! I could dream my order is on Grand Vision but the dates sure don’t line up and possibly Vinview is messing us up. Only time will tell. I asked the dealer if they have seen any other orders that had been built virtually months ago. Their answer was No!! To be honest, I’m not sure any dealers in Canada have recieved any orders as I have searched inventory of 24 Nautilus but none found. I keep saying only time will tell and I’m prepared to wait til spring for delivery!
Tim.

Does the Grand View have a load of Nautilus going to Tacoma?
By Grand View do you mean Grand Vision?

By Tacoma do you mean Portland?

We don't know for absolute, but the timing fits for a delivery. The Nautilus ships from Shanghai, so we expected them to be on the ship, but they may have all offloaded in Canada. The ship was in Korea before Shanghai, and so the vehicles scheduled to offload in Portland could be Kias for all we know. But we think it's likely that some Nautilus will arrive in Portland tomorrow.

Does anyone have thoughts why it's taking forever for vehicles in Portland to start moving to the dealers? My car has ben there 3 wks.

Yes Grand Vision and Portland. Thanks.

“The researchers.” 😂😂

As Swindler mentioned, the day that Lincoln says your car was “shipped” doesn’t mean it was placed aboard a ship. Most of us waited 10-14 days before ours was loaded onto a vessel after receiving the notification of shipping. What we did notice is that when our vehicle was placed on an actual vessel the Lincoln tracking site showed that date in the “last updated” field. So what you’ll need to do is check the tracking site everyday then when you see a new date. Then we’ll have a better idea.

I will also add that “the researchers” had a lot of intel during the first three shipments. Many people here and in the FB group were passing along info on a daily basis. AND…AND, several of us were researching regularly so that we had near real time data on ship movements. I actually joked with my wife that we between us we had constant surveillance on the port of Shanghai and Portland. That is important because if I was gone for 10 hours or whatever, I knew that others here had checked and filled in the gap.

Well now that stream has lessened considerably and we’re not researching as much because our orders are all in Portland now.

We do know what you can expect approximately 2 weeks after “ship date” it should move to a vessel which will take 20-30 days to arrive in Portland (or New Westminster for Canada). Thereafter, it’s about 30 days to dealer although it seems like possibly much longer for some.

On my original orider last activity 1-17 and the sticker finally became available with a date of 1-23 printed on the bottom center. Of course I am not taking delivery on that one any longer.

I'll be willing to bet we could get a lot of shipping information from all the codes on the sticker. They don't release the stickers until it is ready to load on the ship. You can also get the order number from the sticker to look up any vehicle on order tracker. If we only knew what all those numbers mean. I figured convoy means multiple shipping methods of course that's an easy one. When the Nautilus came from Canada it said rail. So something to think about.

That's consistent with the vehicle being loaded on a vessel on 1/17. The sticker date will change. Mine was on the Glovis Chorus which was loaded on 12/18 and that's the status update I had. The sticker I downloaded was dated 12/22/23 and when I look at it now it's dated 1/24/2024 (today's date). So I presume that the date on the bottom of the sticker is the date you access it or download it.

But this is the perfect example of what I was talking about. When my car was loaded, many of us were watching the ports to see which ships came and went. So I was able to list about 4 ships that were in port that were possibilities. I narrowed it down to 2, granted I did so by making an erroneous deduction, but I was correct. Then based on the two left, we were able to pick out the correct one within hours.

With regards to yours, 1/17 is now beyond my ability to see which ships were in port without a subscription. So without a vinview I'd probably have to wait till a ship makes a move to Portland then look back in time to its ports of call history. Also, a few of us had free trials or subscriptions to look for our ship...so again, we had more info available to us then.

My current order (from dealer stock) was on the Glovis also. Built on 11-28 and left Shanghai on 12-18. I have been looking in the ford forums on decoding the all those numbers on the sticker. My ramp one code is CH02 which is the final destination rail yard. There is also (I think) a rail car number too. Info is sketchy. Looks like the build them in batches. Mine is 1045 out of 2008. (1045/2008 top right of sticker). A lot of interesting information embedded on there.

Very interesting and logical.
This would suggest mine will go by rail to Albany NY and convoy from there to CT.
Also mine would be 177 of 2008.. Remember we have 2300 car unloaded from the Glovis Chorus in Portland. Ill bet a few that missed the last boat could have been onboard or even some other imported models.

Picked up my new girl for test drive, going back to dealership to seal the deal. I tried to add pics , but says too big. I definitely have to get used to the technology, not as basic as my RR Sport I have now. Rides great ,but was cautious in the rain on highway.

Here is a great explanation of Ford window stickers.

Checked status for the assigned rail car found on my window sticker. As expected its too early and it has no status or reported weight.

1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.
3. When prompted for the car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE

If you get a human hang up.

Where did you find the car initials?

So all vehicles bound for Florida are going to Jacksonville, FL? (CA14) Except Miami. CA21 I thought they would ship to Tampa as well. It's on the list.

Where did you find the car initials?
At the top of the window sticker it will say "9-Normal" the next 2 characters are the initials. the next 6 are the rail car number.

My understanding is that you had to get the rail car number from the dealer and this number is something else.

That is also what I thought. I checked other forums where people tracked vehicles and it seemed to work. Also the number on my window sticker actually matches a rail car. Could be coincidence or just a place holder though. It would be nice to see if anyone whos car has definitely been loaded on the train can track it and see if the rail car number matches.
