Who has submitted an order for the new 2024 Nautilus?

I've never had a vehicle that included the cargo cover. It was always a separate item.

Peter

It came with my 2023 Lexus NX 450H+ Luxury PHEV. It's their top of the line and it came with the cargo cover. All of my Subaru's came with one. I didn't see where the cover could be ordered.

I figured I'd wait and use the 70,000 points to get what the factory left out.

Every luxury vehicle I looked at had it or had a package that included it, including the 2023 Nautilus. In fact, I went back to the Lincoln site and low and behold, it is indeed part of a package for the 2023 but not an option on the 24.
If you placed an order for yours, the carpet mats were an option. You could choose mats or liners or both. I just chose the liners.

Peter
I think you mean there is the "cargo accessories and mat package" which isn't very clear compared to the 2023 build. The 2024 build just says "All weather floor liner." If you build a 2023 model, the same package makes it abundantly clear it removes the carpet mats.
This is available for the Aviator but for some reason not for the Nautilus. It covers the cargo area and also attaches to the 3rd- row seat backs.
I'm sure that there are other makes that would work as well. Covercraft has universal fit covers.

Peter

He's talking about the shade that you can retract and it hides your cargo. Again, it was on the accessories site, but was removed.

We have to get our lingo straight. Everybody is talking about different items. 😄
I blame Lincoln for not being clear. The website hasn't been great. The correct terminology is a "cargo cover." Some sites call it a "retractable cargo cover" or a "security shade" but the Ford and Lincoln websites list it as cargo cover. The thing that goes on the floor in the cargo area is a "cargo mat" or "cargo liner" or on this particular build (2024 nautilus) the "cargo area protector."

I'm guessing the 23 fits the 24 (Ford Part No.: FA1Z-5845440-AK) and will see what the dealer has when I pickup the vehicle. If not, Amazon. No doubt the Amazon ones come from the same place in China. I just know I will not put anything in the back without a cover. Otherwise, your car gets broken into.

As I said in the referenced post, Lincoln had a "Cargo Security Shade" listed for the 2024 Nautilus with the part number shown (different than your number). I copied a few part numbers so that if have ready access. It is no longer listed on the website. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what they offer.

I’ll agree with most of this except the carpet mats being removed if you order the cargo protection package. I believe the carpet mats will still be included.

I'm also looking at the various options on the 23 and the Aviator to see what else I'm missing. I guess the Nautilus never had the rear door shades that the Aviator has (and other cars in the Nautilus class like the GV70).

If you build a 2023 Nautilus and get the same package, that says the carpet mats are removed. So I personally believe they will be removed and Lincoln didn't put it on the website. I guess we shall see.

Okay. That was what I was thinking as well. Subaru is the ONLY one selling seat back protectors. I believe they only have them for the Outback. I haven't had to look them up for other models.
.
Just to confirm for you @SgtLip, the rear cargo liner only goes to the second row. I received mine today.

Okay. Thanks for the info. I am very familiar with the Cargo Liner. I will be getting one but was hoping TuxMat made them or will make them by the time I get my vehicle.

I am still in pursuit of second row seat back protectors. It makes no sense to me to have the Cargo Liner end at the seat line when you fold the seats down. Am I the ONLY one who feels the carpet/material on the seat backs need protecting?

I keep a section of heavy fabric folded up in the back for that reason. Sliding 2x4s onto the center console and tossing dirty stuff in the back. When done I can just shake out out or wash it. No scratches or scuffs yet in 5 years.

We need to get this thread back on topic. It was started in April 2023 by @TimCooper with the title of "Who has submitted an order for the new 2024 Nautilus?". It has devolved into shipping, accessories, etc.

I'll start a thread called 2024 Nautilus Accessories. But to SgtLip: I don't recall seeing any vehicle where the cargo mat covered the back seats unless it was an aftermarket mat.

I started a new thread because I think it would be more helpful to others to have an accessories thread to search as we go along.

I have mentioned this before. Shipping news in my opinion should be in the '2024 Delivery Schedule' thread. 2024 delivery schedule

Someone at Lincoln must have been fixing the Vehicle Order Status site. One month after the fact, my vehicle status has finally indicated 'Shipped' with a date of 12/8/23.

You probably know this, but your vehicle is scheduled to arrive in Portland on 1/12.
