Who has submitted an order for the new 2024 Nautilus?

Shipping update: I noticed earlier today on the tracking site that there was an update as of 12/27. Contacted dealer and recieved documentation that my order was on the water as of 27/12. What I can’t figure out is which ship left Shanghai port yesterday. Any guesses?

Spring Wind? It departed 12/27.
I’ll cross my fingers you are right although past trips have been in the Taiwan area and I don’t see it on the list heading to Portland though.

Mystery Ship Update: I asked the dealer this morning to check on the event details of my order and this revealed some insight into the Nautilus shipments and possibly why it took so long for my order to move from built to actually on the ship. Turns out Canadian orders may be heading to New Westminster BC instead of Portland OR. Good news in my mind although I’m still unable to figure out which actual ship it’s on. Are there more Canadian orders on the Forum?

I found this on a website providing information about shipping times from Shanghai to Los Angeles. Yes I know it’s not Portland but it might give folks a rough estimate of transit time once it gets to the port.
Shanghai to LA: 14 days.

LA to various cities: ( note LA to Portland is 10 days)
A  7 days  - San Diego, Oakland / San Francisco
B  8 days  - Austin, Denver, Salt Lake City, Phoenix
C  10 days  - Birmingham, Atlanta, Dallas, Portland (OR), Houston, Chicago, Detroit
D  13 days  - Milwaukee, Columbus, Minneapolis, Cleveland, New York, Seattle
E  15 days  - Boston, Raleigh, Baltimore, Kansas City, Boston
F  17 days  - New Orleans, Mobile, Memphis
G  19 days  - Miami, Tampa, Orlando

Don’t know if you can extrapolate this from Portland to various cities but found this interesting.

I’m adding the VinView data I was provided. I couldn’t figure out how to reduce image size til now 72564198637__3141DB54-C9C0-44DE-A91A-FD991EC686EE.webp

I have attached the list of expected to arrive in new Westminster BC port in the new year. The only issue is none of these vehicle carriers have been in Shanghai on December 27/28, 2023. I’m scratching my head.

Perhaps because New Westminster isn't it's first stop after crossing the Pacific? But regardless, looking for PCTC ships at our typical Chinese ports around 12/27 doesn't appear to reveal which it could be.

Sorry I may be a bit slow but what are PCTC ships?

Pure car, truck carrier. What @swindler means is that several of us have been watching the ports at Shanghai for vehicle carriers and haven't seen one that matches that date.

Now that it's been a few days, ask for another Vinview and see if you can get an image of a map. If you can give us that information we can use one of the tracking sites to try to match to a ship. But right now I don't see any Hyundai owned

Based on the service map on Hyundai Glovis' website, that port is either the first or the last on its route (assuming it works like that).

Thank you for providing such a quick answer. I’ll have to wait til Tuesday after New Years to ask. What I did just get is my hybrid window sticker. I’ll attach a copy. IMG_7887.jpeg

The window sticker doesn't really help us. Some of the info for tracking requires a subscription. But we can see current locations and tracking routes of some ships. It's interesting it is a Hyundai ship. But searching by owner also requires a subscription. Which I did for a day for my ship but not going to do for everyone else. :)

Wow! 37 mpg in Canada. It must be that crisp fresh air.

Not really. I just did L/100km to mpg conversion: 30 city/ 31 Hwy. The same figures.
Under the 7.7, it says "37 mi/gal". But yes, I understand your imperialized gallons are bigger than ours.

I thought this might be an issue from litres to Imperial gallons. I had not seen a hybrid sticker so I thought I would share. All I can say is it’s definitely cold crisp airs here these days!!

Something I noticed in the vinview @TimCooper provided before; in the lower right it has Hyundai Glovis just the same it had on my map vinview so... it has to be on another Glovis.

Yes I noticed that as well and I have been searching for the right Hyundai Glovis ship was heading to New Westminster BC. So far no luck. My fear this morning is the Tsunami off the coast of Japan. Looks like typical route takes ship along the Japanese coast right in the area of the tsunami. Hopefully 4 or 5 days of travel may have cleared that area. I’m headed to dealer on Wednesday for service on our Corsair GT and will definitely be asking to see the VinView of its current status.
Tim.
